  • In a video, Kyekyeko took on Kelvynboy's 2019 hit "Yawa No Dey," featuring M.anifest, during a performance at an event.
  • The young performer faced a chilly response from the sizable audience, who showed little enthusiasm for engaging with the song.
  • The disappointing audience response to Kyekyeku's musical act at the event led to widespread amusement among many Ghanaians on social media.

Ghana's well-known comedic performer Bismark Ofori, who goes by the nickname Kyekyeku, has garnered notice following the appearance of a video online.

In a TikTok clip spotted by Diwida |.gh The promising protegé of Kumawood star Dr Likee was seen delivering a performance of Kelvynboy's popular track "Yawa No Dey" at an event before a sizable audience. This rendition included guest appearances from M.anifest, who won the title for Best Rapper and Hip-Hop Song of the Year at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards.

Even though Kyekyeku strived to deliver high-energy musical presentations and engage the youthful audience, he didn’t get the usual response in various parts of Ghana after teaming up with renowned Kumawood star Lil Win for a film project.

The crowd at the music event was not enthusiastic about jamming to the song being performed by Kyekyeku, with many of them silently watching him. Others also kept their attention glued to their mobile phones in what was an awkward moment for the actor, who continued to sing and dance on the stage.

Following his rise to fame with Dr Likee in recent times, Kyekyeku has occasionally demonstrated his musical abilities similar to those of his good buddy and co-actor 39/40, who has delved into the Ghanaian music scene and put out several tracks.

In 2024, the comic performer received recognition from Stonebwoy following calls from several fans who encouraged the leader of BHIM Nation to sign the actor after he created a humorous version of Stonebwoy’s iconic 2015 track "Mightylele."

Here is the video of Kyekyecuo receiving a cold response from the audience during his musical act at an event:
