Kamaru Gbenga Bakare, known as Invisible Kay, a Nigerian gospel singer dedicated to sharing the message of God through his music, has pledged to keep doing what he excels at and elevate it even further.

The moniker 'Invisible Kay,' as explained by the artist, represents his deep commitment to the Supreme Being—Almighty Yahweh. Bakare shared that he entered the music scene with the intention of making an impact. According to him, Invisible Kay embarked on his musical path from a very young age when he began singing in his church choir at just four years old. In an interview, he mentioned that these formative experiences during his childhood established the groundwork for what was to come in his career.

My musical style combines the essence of gospel music with a mix of Afrobeat influences and energy. It draws inspiration from both the complete Word of God and daily life experiences.

"I find motivation from my Lord and Savior — Jesus Christ, along with other legendary musicians, the renowned Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Bob Marley, and the esteemed King Sunny Ade," he stated, mentioning that he keeps evolving into new realms of various musical expressions.

Recently, Invisible Kay launched his debut EP titled 'Only You,' which consists of 11 tracks released in 2020. Despite not having worked with prominent artists so far, he stated that he continues to concentrate on crafting his art and adhering to what he believes is his divinely guided journey.

Furthermore, Invisible Kay mentioned that his songwriting frequently originates from the Word of God infused with the power of the Holy Spirit, as well as from personal experiences, dreams, visions, and even observations of nature.

He mentioned that his lyrics draw inspiration from all kinds of sounds, ranging from birdsong to ocean waves and various musical styles.

Apart from making music, I love cycling, taking walks, and playing table tennis. My main objective is to share the message of God’s salvation through my musical endeavors. Additionally, I intend to mentor upcoming artists and consistently engage in new initiatives, aiming always to produce innovative and uplifting content," he stated.
