Since the regulation was updated in 2017, every NRL club has had to announce their team lineup for the upcoming match on Tuesdays.
Each Tuesday at 4:00 pm (Sydney time), NRL teams disclose their rosters, irrespective of the day they compete over the weekend.

NRL Squad Announcement for Tuesday, Explained
The appeal of Team List Tuesday keeps growing as supporters catch their initial look at how squads will be aligned for the upcoming matches.
Squads are released on NRL.com And every club's website updates on Tuesday afternoons.
Initially, teams comprised 21 players each. However, due to the Covid pandemic, this was expanded to 24 players because last-minute scratches grew more frequent.
This number initially fell back to the starting count of 21 players before climbing up to 22 for the year 2022. This adjustment was made to include the new 18th player rule from the preceding season.
During the remainder of the week leading up to their individual matches, two reductions are made to each club’s squad list. Additionally, any required adjustments in player positions can be implemented.
One day prior to the match starting, teams reduce their roster down to 19 players by removing three individuals from their team list.
One hour prior to the commencement of the game, a finalized list of 17 players is announced, along with one additional player from the expanded roster being designated as the 18th man.
