
Actress Kim Sae Ron's family shared what they claimed was a voice recording where she allegedly stated that she first had sexual intercourse with actor Kim Soo Hyun during her second year of middle school.

According to The Times of India During a press conference held on Wednesday, members of Kim Sae Ron’s family presented a voice recording where a voice purportedly belonging to her claimed, “I had a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun. Some may think I am insane or choose not to believe this, but our romance began when I was still in middle school, and it ended shortly after I started college.”
The audio further contains a declaration wherein the speaker brands Kim Soo Hyun and his management firm, Gold Medalist, as "extremely frightening" entities ready to go to any lengths.
The family submitted the recording as proof backing up their assertion that Kim Sae-ron was in a six-year relationship with Kim Soo Hyun. beginning at age 15 , which the actor refuted.
Following the press conference, Gold Medalist released a statement refuting the recording as “inauthentic” and claimed it was likely produced with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).
The controversy surrounding Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun began gaining attention on March 10 after the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, which goes by the alias Hoverlab, broadcasted an interview featuring a woman identifying herself as Kim Sae Ron’s aunt. She alleged that there was some form of inappropriate relationship between the two actors.
Following her passing, the family of the deceased actress alleged that Kim Soo Hyun requested the return of 700 million won (approximately US$476,969). According to them, this demand contributed to her emotional turmoil before she died.
