'Hitsies' (HITGS), known as 'The 5th Generation Super Rookie,' has made its debut in the music scene.
H Music Entertainment declared on the 1st that they plan to debut a new girl group during the first half of this year.
On the morning of the 31st of last month, a brief 10-second animated logo video appeared on the official social media page for HITGS (Hidges). The clip featured five stars ascending into the azure sky accompanied by enigmatic music. As these celestial symbols converged to form a circular pattern, they revealed beneath them the carved emblem of the group HITGS, designed to captivate viewers.
HITGS is a fresh female ensemble unveiled by Kim Kang-hyo, the head of H Music Entertainment, with over 17 years of experience at Starship Entertainment under her belt. Known for cultivating substantial expertise and establishing robust systems in artist development and promotion via managing acts like MONSTA X, WJSN, CRAVITY, and IVE, Ms. Kim’s inaugural venture into launching a girl group is generating considerable anticipation.
HITGS is an acronym representing Hip, Innocent, Teenage, Girls, and Story, capturing the essence of each member’s cherished interests. This ensemble embodies the unadulterated enthusiasm of young females pursuing their aspirations through innovative musical compositions and stage presentations unseen elsewhere. Their collective allure presents a distinctive persona specific to HITGS.
HITGS was initially established as Project H and quickly gained attention even prior to its formal launch. In the previous year, it made a notable initial appearance via the pre-show at the '2024 SBS Music Competition'. The group also participated in the inauguration of the 'TIRTIR' pop-up shop and the '2025 F/W Seoul Fashion Week' to unveil a fresh member.
