SPOILER ALERT: The following details pertain to Season 13, Episode 7 of "The Masked Singer," titled "Carnival Night," which was broadcast on March 26 on Fox.

Candace Cameron Bure mentioned that the producers of "The Masked Singer" approached her four times before she eventually agreed to participate in the popular Fox singing show. Despite being eliminated during her initial appearance (as "Cherry Blossom"), the former "Full House" star shared this information with DIWIDA She felt content that she had done it.

Cameron Bure stated, “I often advise my children that when they get the chance for something but feel scared about it, they should go ahead since it presents a valuable learning experience and helps boost their self-assurance,” she shared. “In fact, I believe I had to follow my own counsel, which is why I ultimately decided to say yes.”

Regarding the cherry blossom question, nobody chose correctly. Rita Ora suggested it wasJessica Biel. Robin Thicke believed it wasTracey Goldfrom "Growing Pains." Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg identifiedJennie Garth. Meanwhile, Ken Jeong pickedTina Fey.

Cameron Bure acknowledged that both her husband and daughter motivated her to participate in "The Masked Singer," despite her limited background in singing. She mentioned, “My nature tends toward being meticulous, which means I usually avoid activities where I lack proficiency.” However, their encouragement played a significant role. Additionally, after multiple invitations from the show’s producers, she felt compelled to accept. It was somewhat like reaching out numerous times until one can’t ignore them anymore; hence, she thought accepting would put an end to those repeated requests: 'Alright, I should just go ahead and tackle this.'

The celebrity revealed that "The Masked Singer" offers big TelePrompTers to assist with remembering lyrics, and the Cherry Blossom outfit was quite manageable to move around in.

She mentioned, 'I actually had a great experience after I started performing.' She explained, ‘The whole show feels like a giant guessing game. When they announced me as the first from my group, I felt extremely disappointed.’ She expressed her desire for another week so she could have savored the second week even more. However, despite this, she confessed that she still thoroughly enjoyed it all and was very pleased with herself for participating.

After performing "Let's Get Loud" by Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Bure was eliminated from the competition. She had intended to perform "Dirty Pop" by *NSYNC the following week. In the subsequent episode titled "'90s Week," she could have showcased her best talents ideally.

“We genuinely received an adorable set of materials that was intended for Robin since Robin and I were childhood buddies,” she explained. “He mentioned during the show that we dated briefly, about a week long when we were either 12 or 13 years old. We had crushes on each other back then. Therefore, performing for 90s Week would’ve been incredibly enjoyable.”

In season 13 of "The Masked Singer," Candace Cameron Bure appears as Cherry Blossom alongside James Van Der Beek as Griffin, Flavor Flav as Space Ranger, Sheana Shay as Bat, Aubrey O’Day as Ant, Oscar de la Hoya as Fuzzy Peas, and Cedric the Entertainer as Honey Pot when they reveal their identities.

The event "Carnival Night" initiated the matches for Group C, concluding with two additional competitors advancing to the "Lucky Six." Up until now, this group encompasses the victors from Group A—Coral and Paparazzo—and those from Group B—Pearl and Boogie Woogie.

Returning for Season 13 are host Nick Cannon along with panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Rita Ora, and Robin Thicke. This marks Rita Ora’s third straight season sitting at the desk, stepping in for Nicole Scherzinger as she has done previously.

This season introduces a new enigmatic figure known as " Detective Lucky Duck," who will be present throughout the season providing hints to assist the panelists in solving the mystery of identifying the hidden characters. As Detective Lucky Duck mentioned regarding the Mad Scientist Monster, “Keep your ears tuned; if you’ve been paying attention, you’ll catch onto the correct clue.”

Additionally, there’s now “Crack the Case,” where extra hints are provided regarding contestants who have been ruled out. In relation to Cherry Blossom, the hint was a button—this directed viewers to a clip featuring Joey Fatone (also known as the Rabbit). He mentioned knowing Cherry Blossom from her days in the conventions during the '90s; she is associated with one of the era's most renowned television dynasties.

In "The Masked Singer" Season 13, viewers can look forward to franchise tributes featuring both "Shrek" and "Ghostbusters," along with an homage to the Grand Ole Opry celebrating its centennial year. Additional theme nights will honor the Rat Pack and explore concepts like "Voices of Olympus: The Unmasking of Deities," "Carnival," "Boy Bands," "Decades," "Lucky 6 Speed Guessing," a special event called "Clash of the Masks," and the recurrence of "Soundtrack of My Life."

In Season 13, the masked contestants consist of Honey Pot, Space Ranger, Cherry Blossom, Coral, Fuzzy Peas, Ant, Paparazzo, Griffin, Boogie Woogie, Pearl, Bat, Yorkie, Stud Muffin, Nessy, and Mad Scientist Monster.

In Wednesday’sEpisode 7, titled “Carnival Night,” here were the performances:

Yorkie

Song: "Hot To Go!," by Chappell Roan

Panel guesses: Chelsea Handler, Paris Hilton, Kyle Richards

Clue: I was really down on my luck until this wonderful lady from Beverly Hills took me under her wing, and now I find myself adorned in Chanel and feasting on caviar.

Yorkie voiceover: Transforming into a Yorkie feels like fate. Both of us are feisty, stylish, and let’s face it, quite sought after. Yet, don’t let our high-end canine appearance deceive you; I’ve still got some teeth. After all, Yorkshire Terriers were originally raised to hunt rats. This ability comes in handy considering what I’ve endured. Trust me, life hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Just as things seem great, they could take a turn at any moment. However, I refused to back down. Fortunately, music was there for me during those tough times. It provided an outlet where I could genuinely convey who I am. Music saved me from despair and guided me forward. Now, I’m fierce and determined to claim my spot among the elite dogs.

Stud Muffin

Song: "Jump Around," by House of Pain

Panel guesses: Method Man, Shaquille O'Neal, Michael Jordan

Clue: One of my teammates would run alongside a mascot, and I found it incredibly awesome. However, while I adored the concept, Nick, true affection comes at no cost.

Stud Muffin voiceover: Turning into Stud Muffin feels like the perfect fit since most of my life has been pretty sweet, just like a good muffin. My lifelong belief is that if I could pick any ideal career, being a mascot would be it. It’s about getting crowds excited without anyone knowing your true identity! That’s exactly what I’m doing now as Stud Muffin, representing my squad. From the start, I understood that building a solid group is essential for success. Before our days of dominating opponents, though, we spent them cleaning up after games—literally. Then came the moment when I discovered both my fighting spirit and my chance at greatness. Our team transitioned from working behind the scenes to leading the charge. Yet, despite these changes, we remain driven by the same hunger that fueled us back then. As Stud Muffin, I am ready to energize everyone around me because winning is everything.

Nessy

Song: "Roxanne," by The Police

Panel guesses: Gene Simmons, Dan Reynolds, Daryl Hall

Clue I spent quite a bit of time away to stay close with my loved ones. However, having the opportunity to return here and step back into the spotlight truly feels wonderful.

Nessy voiceover: Embracing the persona of Nessy feels right. Just like her, I’m a towering yet kind soul. I go above and beyond for those dear to me and maintain an air of mystery. Much like the mythical Loch Ness Monster, many consider me legendary. However, I prefer keeping to myself. You’d have to explore deeply within the confines of my property to possibly spot me. Even most of my neighbors and my mailperson remain unaware that behind all this success stands ‘that guy.’ This discretion is intentional; it lets me enjoy both fame and privacy alongside my loved ones. Now, adopting the role of Nessy, I step forward from seclusion to perform this timeless piece on stage. Here’s hoping I dominate this contest.

Cherry Blossom

Song: 'Let's Get Loud,' by Jennifer Lopez

Panel guesses: Tina Fey, Lori Greiner, Jennie Garth

Clue This is the most terrifying thing I have ever attempted. However, I'm drawing strength from my children's assurance. One of them has a talent for singing. Nonetheless, my legs feel like jelly at this moment.

Cherry Blossom voiceover: For me, cherry blossoms symbolize renewal and the transition between seasons, which makes them fitting for me. Additionally, this holds a special significance personally; I’m here to commemorate my dear friend who has walked this path before. We practically came of age together. She showed me how not to be too hard on myself, and nobody could make me chuckle as much as she did. Then, fast-forward to when I started watching 'The Masked Singer,' and her distinctive voice filled the airwaves. From the moment those notes rang out, I recognized whose they were immediately. While I am thrilled about following in their tracks, there’s an undercurrent of fear because singing isn’t something I’ve ever ventured into during my career. Yet, taking a deep breath, I believe it’s crucial for this particular blossom to spread its wings and enjoy itself just a bit. Thus, this performance is dedicated to someone with an incredibly vibrant personality—I miss you dearly.”

Mad Scientist Monster

Song: "Unwell," by Matchbox Twenty

Panel guesses: Luke Combs, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton

Clue This holds great significance for me as it allows me to present myself anew to my audience in a manner they have not witnessed previously.

Mad Scientist Monster voiceover: Embracing the role of the Mad Scientist Monster suits me well because one must embrace being slightly eccentric, continually testing boundaries, and constantly evolving oneself. That’s what brought me here. Let’s dive into this challenge together. Life often makes us believe we’ve cracked the code; simplicity seems within reach. Once upon a time, I was on track to excel in my domain. My talents left observers astounded. Everyone appeared eager to bring me aboard their squad. Yet when opportunity knocked, disaster struck instead. They pushed me aside. The experience nearly drove me insane. Amidst the turmoil, an innovative idea emerged. For each cause, there’s always an effect—and mine altered reality itself. In doing so, I discovered my true calling. Turns out, I’m not truly deranged—I’m simply passionate. Stick around since chances are good that I’ll leave quite an impression.

In Season 12, Boyz II Men (the Buffalo) claimed the Masked trophy by defeating Mario As the Wasp, who finished as the runner-up this season, they were part of a lineup that included AJ Michalka voicing Strawberry Shortcake; Kobie Turner portraying Goo; Jana Kramer taking on the role of Royal Knight; Bronson Arroyo embodying Sherlock Hound; Drake Bell becoming Ice King; Bethany Hamilton representing Macaron; Natalie Imbruglia lending her voice to Bluebell; Laverne Cox playing Chess Piece; Andy Richter acting as Dusty Bunny; Paula Cole personifying Ship; Marsai Martin bringing Woodpecker to life; Yvette Nicole Brown stepping into the shoes of Showbird; and John Elway revealing himself as Leaf Sheep—these were some of the celebrities whose identities were unveiled during “The Masked Singer” Season 12.
