Singer Chae-yeon reminisced about her prime years.
On October 10th, a video entitled '2005 Chaeyeon' was posted on the YouTube channel named '2005 Chaeyeon'.
In the video, Chae-yeon revisited her iconic look from her peak time in 2005 when she was performing with 'Two of Us,' reminiscing about those times.
Chae-yeon, who flawlessly replicated both her hairdo and outfit, stands in front of the mirror saying, "To be honest, I feel conflicted. It’s not exactly identical to how it used to be, yet I expected it to be amusing. However, when I actually saw it, I felt deeply moved." She then displays a teary expression.
Once she had finally calmed down, Chae-yeon made her way to Seongsu Station in Seoul. She admitted, "I’m feeling quite anxious. Actually, this is my first visit here without wearing a hat."
Yet, when Chae-yeon finds herself unrecognizable on the streets, she reflects, “Nobody knows me. Even though you claim ignorance, it feels as if we both pretend not to recognize each other. It’s almost surreal; I seem like a stranger even to myself.”
In reaction to this, the production crew commented, “How come you didn’t recognize us after we took home top honors at the music show last week?” Similarly, Chae-yeon remarked, “Don’t you remember me from winning the top spot last week?” With a grin, he added, "I guess I ought to appear on ‘X-Man’ and ‘Music Camp’ as well."
So, “Given how popular it is, there should be a bodyguard, yet I wonder if that’s really the case.” Is this correct? What kind of ambiance is this? He mentioned he was having trouble adjusting to it. He expressed his commitment to the idea.
Later, after Chae-yeon went to the four-pane photo booth, she questioned the production crew, “When you were younger, did you frequently get lots of those sticker photos?” She mentioned that nowadays, she does not snap as many photographs compared to before. In fact, she rarely takes selfies anymore. "Maybe it’s because they find me unappealing now," she mused. Earlier, she would constantly gaze at mirrors and click numerous selfies daily. However, currently, due to her infrequent encounters with others unlike in her youth, taking picture stickers has become less common for her.
In 2003, Chae-yeon made her debut and garnered significant affection with popular tracks like 'Two of You,' 'Come On,' and 'Only You.'
