Blink-182 ’s Mark Hoppus He leaves no detail untouched in his new memoir, even recounting an incident where his 'hero' attempted to kiss him at a gathering.
He exposed one 'unpleasant encounter' with Melissa Joan Hart In the book called "Fahrenheit-182," he has now disclosed everything with The Cure's involvement. Robert Smith .
This brief romance was shorter than the previous one when Mark, aged 53, turned down a kiss from his idol, something he deeply regrets now.
Speaking to US Weekly What’s My Name Again's creator mentioned that the incident occurred when he was about to depart from an after-party with his spouse.
Everybody was imbibing and 'enjoying themselves', and the 65-year-old creator of "Boys Don't Cry" seemed to be feeling rather flirtatious.
Mark mentioned, "At the party, he attempted to kiss me, and I thought, 'Why didn’t I do that? It makes for a far more interesting tale compared to him trying to kiss me and things getting awkward. It would've been awesome to say, 'Yep, smooched my idol.'"

Oddly enough, only Mark, his spouse, and part of the Blink-182 team noticed the near-kiss.
Mark, who was diagnosed with cancer two years ago laughed: 'I was more astonished that no one else noticed it.'
Robert has been wedded to the unconventional Mary since 1988, having first crossed paths in their drama class at age 14.
In the late 1990s, Mark encountered his spouse Skye Everly, they got married in 2000, and currently, they have a son named Jack together.
The musicians have never talked about the potential kiss incident, though Mark admitted he should have informed Robert beforehand that it was included in the book.

Fahrenheit-182 delves into many aspects of Mark’s journey during the initial years of the band, which came together in 1992 and achieved immense fame by the year 2000.
Mark, along with his bandmates Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge, went on tour and released two albums prior to achieving widespread success with their 1999 album "Enema of the State."

The album produced several hit songs and was succeeded two years later by "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket," which received additional praise.
Although Travis might be the most recognizable among the band members due to his 2000s reality series and spouse, Kourtney Kardashian Mark is the sole person who has remained with Blink throughout the entire period.
Tom departed from the group two times, initially in 2005 — leading to a four-year break for the band — and subsequently in 2015, before finally coming back in 2022.
In the meantime, Travis became part of the group in 1998 following the dismissal of founding drummer Scott Raynor because of personal problems and his struggle with alcoholism.
