 A lot of these beverages are fizzy and have a flavor similar to well-known sodas, yet they usually have lower sugar content.


 For instance, Olipop’sClassic Root Beer flavor includes only six grams of added sugar, whereas a regular can of root beer typically contains around 40 grams.

 Spindrift joins the frenzy.

 Now, Spindrift, the independent beverage company known for introducing fizzy drinks made from actual fruit juice, is venturing into sodas with their new product launch.


 The beverages are named Spindrift SODA and will feature the following tastes:

 </li>
 <li>
 Orange Cream Float
 </li>

 Shirley Temple
 </li>
 <li>

 "Amidst a market cluttered with sodas packed with excessive additives and artificial sweeteners, Spindrift SODA distinguishes itself as a straightforward, contemporary beverage that’s good for you, free from extraneous components such as added sugars, stevia, or prebiotics," according to Spindrift.


 Bill Creeman, the founder, states that each can of Orange Cream Float includes the juice extracted from three-quarters of an orange.


 Each variety includes 20% fresh-squeezed juice which provides exceptional taste and sweetness, establishing a new benchmark for just how delightful a nutritious soda can be.


 The beverages will be available on store shelves, as well as through its website and Amazon, later this year.

 Now, however, the plant-based-meat industry is valued just shy of $4 billion according to recent estimates. And many grocery stores and fast food chains stock vegan burgers right alongside regular meat.

 As more folks try to break their soda addiction and opt for healthier beverages, many have turned to alternative drinks that still feel like sweet bubbly treats.

 Some of the most popular drinks in the space include Poppi, which debuted a Super Bowl commercial in 2025, and Olipop, which sells familiar flavors like Vintage Cola, Classic Grape and Classic Root Beer.


 And the functional beverage space is big business. As of 2023, the space was valued at around $234 billion. By 2034, it's expected to nearly double that valuation to $437 billion.

 So the beverage giant is launching its own functional drink as an offshoot from its already popular drink brand Simply.


 The new drinks, called Simply Pop, will include six grams of fiber plus Vitamin C and zinc. Simply Pop will come in several flavors, including:
