They're some of the most beautiful women in the world.
But who is the ultimate supermodel?
Dr Julian De Silva, a facial cosmetic surgeon based in London , has used the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty to uncover the 10 most beautiful supermodels in the world, according to science.
'We all wonder who is really the most beautiful of all the supermodels and this is the closest we can get to an explanation based on facial symmetry and classically beautiful features,' Dr De Silva said.
Kate Moss tops the list with an almost perfect score of 94.14 per cent.
The 51-year-old icon's eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and came closest to the ancient Greeks' idea of perfection.
Dr De Silva explained: 'What makes Kate so exceptional is her high scores across nearly all the categories but her two stand-out features were her almost perfectly shaped jawline which scored highest with 96.5% and chin (95.6%).'
At the other end of the scale, Naomi Campbell , 54, came last due to her chin - which was said to have measured 'poorly'.
To understand which faces are the most attractive, Dr De Silva, who runs the Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery in London, used the Golden Ratio.
This mathematical equation was devised by the ancient Greeks to measure beauty.
The ratio can be applied to almost anything and was used by Leonardo Da Vinci for the perfect human male body in his famous work, the Vitruvian Man.
The premise behind the Golden Ratio is that the closer the ratios of a face or body are to the number 1.618 (Phi), the more beautiful they become.
All the models from the start of the supermodel era in the mid-1980s right through to the cover stars of today were assessed at their peak to determine who is the most beautiful.
Dr. De Silva stated, "The models were selected based on the height of their popularity to ensure an even competition and provide us with the fairest method possible for assessing who embodied beauty as defined by the Golden Ratio."
Not surprisingly, they all came very near to achieving a flawless score of 100 percent.
Cindy Crawford, who is 58 years old, closely followed Kate Moss with a score of 93.86 percent.
Dr. De Silva mentioned that Cindy Crawford, who emerged as one of the leading figures during the beginning of the supermodel era in the 1980s, ranked second with the top scores across three categories: her chin received a rating of 99.6%, merely 0.4% away from being perfect; her eye position scored 99.4%; and her forehead earned an impressive 98.6%.
She could have emerged victorious if her score for her lip technique hadn’t been so low (84%).
She was closely trailed by Gisele Bundchen, aged 44, and Jourdan Dunn, who is 34 years old.
'Dr. De Silva stated that Jourdan Dunn is the most stunning among today’s generation of top models.'
She performed exceptionally well in most of the categories and came very close to the top positions for her facial structure (97.1%) and eye placement (97.3%).
She received lower marks due to the shape of her nose (88.9%) and her forehead (89%).
On the opposite end of the spectrum were Emily Ratajkowski and Naomi Campbell, ranking ninth and tenth, respectively.
"[Emily]'s nose has an almost perfect shape, scoring 99.56%, which is the highest on this list," stated Dr. De Silva.
Although her lips scored second with 98.17%, her overall assessment suffered due to lower ratings for her eyebrows (79%) and her jawline (76.8%).
'Naomi achieved the second-highest mark for her eyebrows at 89.9%, however, she received a lower score for her chin at 80.4%.'
In his study, Dr. De Silva also identified which supermodel possessed the most appealing features including their nose, eyes, eyebrows, chin, lips, forehead, and overall facial structure.
Winnie Harlow’s total facial score was the highest at an outstanding 98.6 percent, whereas Emily Ratajkowski’s nose achieved the top spot with a remarkable 99.56 percent.
Gisele Bundchen possesses the optimal space between her nose and lips at 99.4 percent, whereas Cara Delevingne boasts perfect lips at 98.5 percent and eyebrows at 94 percent.
Cindy Crawford secured the top spot with an impressive score of 99.6 percent for her chin, 99.50 percent for her eye position, and 98.6 percent for her forehead.
Ultimately, Kate Moss' jawline ranked highest with a score of 96.5 percent.
