Very arid and breezy circumstances in Oklahoma and Texas exacerbated numerous blazes, leading to structural damage and compelling inhabitants to evacuate their residences on Friday.

Over 130 wildfires have scorched through 44 counties in Oklahoma, according to the state’s Department of Emergency Management on Friday night.

One of the incidents included a major fire in Stillwater that devastated multiple houses within this town of 50,000 residents. In reaction to the blaze, Oklahoma State University, located in Stillwater, decided to cancel its upcoming baseball, softball, and tennis events.
