It was anticipated that representatives from twenty international organizations, which include the United Nations, would be present. The IOMed emerged as one of the results stemming from the China-hosted Belt and Road Forum. Talks regarding this initiative commenced in 2021, with Pakistan being one of the initial nations extended an invitation to join.
During his speech at the event, Senator Dar commended China’s leadership and foresight. He stated that the establishment of IOMed underscores the significance of international collaboration.
