
A brushfire ignited in San Patricio County, located south of Sinton, on Saturday.
Sheriff Oscar Rivera stated on social media that deputies are helping firefighters from Sinton, Odem, and Taft as they combat a blaze located on County Road 1272, situated south of Sinton.
Officials are cautioning citizens that San Patricio County continues to be under a burn ban for the upcoming 90 days, even with the recent precipitation.
