
ABU DHABI, 5th April, 2025 (WAM) -- Tomorrow, Abu Dhabi will play host to the General Assembly meeting of the World Arabian Horse Organization (WAHO).
The gathering takes place under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who serves as the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS). The event receives ongoing support from Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, serving as the EAHS Vice Chairman.
A total of 268 participants hailing from 62 different nations are set to attend the gathering at the St. Regis Saadiyat Resort Abu Dhabi. This event will span one week filled with various activities and presentations, featuring extensive global involvement aimed at addressing and examining every aspect concerning genuine Arabian horse breeds.
During the margins of the conference, various activities will take place, such as introductory tours and excursions to multiple breeding farms, equestrian centers, and associations dedicated to Arabic horses within the UAE.
It should be noted that WAHO holds the duty to ensure that standards deemed acceptable by all its Registering Authority Members are set and upheld regarding rules, registration processes, and the creation of Stud Books.
