He clarified the details: "CVE-2024-53150 and CVE-2024-53197 are both issues within the kernel—the central component of the operating system that serves as a bridge between the hardware and software."
Boynton outlined the potential dangers: "If CVE-2024-53150 is exploited, an attacker could gain access to confidential data without any action from the user. Meanwhile, CVE-2024-53197 has the capability to cause memory corruption or result in escalated privileges should it be taken advantage of by malicious parties."
He gave a firm advice to everyone saying, “Even though this assault is specific, we firmly suggest that all individuals upgrade their Android Operating System. With these CVEs now out in the open, it’s probable that additional hackers will aim at gadgets lacking updates.
