The DreamChild Foundation, which organizes the HoodTalk Music Festival, has appointed Ga Mantse HRM King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II as an international royal ambassador for sustainable global development within the organization due to his efforts in advocating for child healthcare and education.

Led by its top officials, the organization unveiled the nomination before the Ga Mantse, who serves as the President of the Ga Traditional Council. This announcement took place during an elaborate event held at his office in Accra, prior to the 'HoodTalk Music Festival scheduled for May 9 at the Independence Square in Accra.

The leaders of the organization awarded Ga Mantse with an appreciation certificate for serving as the international corporate ambassador of their foundation.

Last year, The DreamChild Foundation collaborated with Virtual Hub to organize a series of music concerts called "HoodTalk Music Concert" across multiple cities including Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, and Ho. These events aimed at raising an initial amount of approximately $14 million to support the building of five pediatric hospitals.

The HoodTalk Music Festival is an initiative launched by the DreamChild Foundation aimed at utilizing music to gather young Ghanaians for discussions on current topics related to their development, all while enjoying wholesome amusement.

The festival aims to bring together various voices for improving the lives of African children and supports them by empowering through music and art via community involvement.

The event has garnered approval from the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, the DJs Union of Ghana (DJUGA), the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, along with backing from UNESCO and several corporations aimed at boosting the fest’s impact and outreach.
