The Greeneville Police Department is looking into a stabbing incident that occurred on Thursday evening.
As per authorities, law enforcement was dispatched to the area of North Sunset Boulevard near 100 block at approximately 9 o'clock in the evening.
Authorities state that upon their arrival at the location, they discovered an unconscious man suffering from puncture injuries to his torso.
It is reported that the individual passed away after being moved to the Greeneville Community Hospital.
Currently, there has been no announcement regarding the identity of the victim.
Authorities state that the individual was subsequently detained.
