
Mumbai (Maharashtra), India, April 11 (ANI): Talent from the silver screen Akshay Kumar , who is currently heavily involved in promotional activities for his forthcoming movie ' Kesari Chapter 2 Reacted to remarks made about his movies by fellow performers.
At a press conference in Mumbai on Friday, when an journalist questioned the actor regarding the renowned actress and politician, Jaya Bachchan ' reportedly commented on her stance regarding his 2017 film 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha,' stating that she wouldn’t watch the movie due to the inclusion of the word "toilet" in its title.
When responding to the query, Akshay stated, "If she mentioned this, then it should be correct; I was unaware of it. Should I have committed some mistake with my film 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha,' then yes, what she says would indeed be accurate."
'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha,' which came out in 2017, featured Bhumi Pednekar along with an actor. Akshay Kumar The movie drew inspiration from an actual event involving a woman who declined returning to her husband’s residence as it lacked a bathroom facility. This cinematic work conveyed a powerful statement regarding the significance of hygiene and constructing lavatories in India's countryside areas.
While discussing his approaching movie ' Kesari Chapter 2 The trailer for the film was unveiled earlier this month, offering a preview of the intense and compelling courtroom drama directed by Nair. The movie also features Ananya Panday as a law student and R. Madhavan portraying Neville McKinley.
In the opening segment of the movie Kesari, starring Parineeti Chopra, the focus was on the bravery exhibited by 21 Sikh warriors during the 1897 battle.
