Nonetheless, Nigeria's healthcare and support infrastructure continues to be inadequately prepared for dealing with the challenges posed by an aging populace and related non-communicable diseases." </p> <p> Age Nigeria Foundation's campaign initiatives strive to guarantee that Nigeria's health care system caters to the specific requirements of its elderly demographic. </p> <p> The 'UHC Ready for an Aging World' campaign is a worldwide health advocacy effort led by HelpAge International. This project seeks to broaden the push for Universal Health Coverage to additional West African nations by the year 2030. </p> <p> The statement indicated that during the reception of the delegation, the Ibeju-Lekki chairman highlighted the importance of ensuring healthcare coverage for elderly individuals. </p> <p> He committed to including elderly individuals in his region under the state’s comprehensive healthcare program. </p> <p> “Chairman Abdullahi Olowa, who welcomed the delegation, acknowledged the importance of inclusive healthcare for older persons. </p> <p> He pledged his support for dedicated health and care services for older persons in the Local Government Area. </p> <p> "The chairman further committed to partnering with Age Nigeria Foundation to enhance the health and social welfare of elderly individuals in Ibeju-Lekki.
