( DIWIDA ) — An increasing number of American women are opting to stay single single instead of accepting unfulfilling relationships, as stated in an essay by the Wall Street Journal emphasizing the changing focuses between males and females.
This change is characterized by women gaining greater financial independence and placing higher importance on their careers, education, and friendships rather than conventional partnerships.
Data from the Pew Research Center Indicates that 34% of unmarried women are currently looking for love, as opposed to 54% of unattached men.

Why do men appear to seek romantic relationships more intensely than women? Dating coach Erika Ettin shared her insights on this topic.
"Men typically don't have the same social network that women often possess. They usually don't have as many friendships, which is unfortunate yet factual," Ettin stated.
Jessica Kriegel, who writes books and serves as the chief strategy officer at Culture Partners, proposes that individuals should reconsider their approach to fulfillment.
"How does one find the greatest sense of achievement in their career? Also, should marriage be part of my life plans? Should I pursue a romantic partnership at all? Or perhaps avoid them entirely? We must begin addressing these types of queries since we've relentlessly focused on different questions for an extended period, which has resulted in issues within our society," stated Kriegel.
In earlier times, marriage was considered a significant achievement in adulthood. Nowadays, though, numerous women prefer not to sacrifice their aspirations or accept unsatisfactory relationships.
This stands in stark contrast to previous generations who frequently faced social pressures to get married at an earlier age and place their family first.

Economists and sociologists have pinpointed the widening education and economic gap between genders as a key factor.
According to The Pew Institute, 47% of women between the ages of 25 and 34 possess bachelor’s degrees, whereas this figure stands at just 37% for men, leading to what some refer to as a "dating imbalance."
More women are seeking partners whose educational levels and professional goals align with theirs, yet they often have difficulty finding such individuals, which is changing perceptions of partnerships and familial existence.
Ettin proposes that for numerous women, their partner's stature might be insignificant—what truly counts is whether they share similar values and aspirations.
