Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has claimed Australia has a “better deal” than any other country “on the planet” after US President Donald Trump imposed tariffs worldwide.
The US President announced a 90-day pause on new tariffs for most countries but has raised China’s tariffs to 125 per cent.
“We will continue to advocate that Australia’s tariff rate should be zero.”
