Kathmandu [Nepal], April 22 (ANI): Well-known Brazil ian football star Roberto Carlos reached Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, on Tuesday morning to make an appearance as a special guest at the continuing event Nepal Super League ( NSL ).

The trip was originally planned for Friday but had been delayed because of health issues. Now that he has recovered, Carlos arrived in Kathmandu to participate in the continuing event. Nepal Super League ( NSL ) at Dashrath Stadium as an honored guest.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest left-backs in football history, Carlos made his senior debut for Brazil in 1992. He earned over 120 caps for the national team and was instrumental in Brazil 's 2002 FIFA World Cup victory in South Korea and Japan.

Carlos a Brazil ian former professional footballer. In 1997, he was runner-up in the FIFA World Player of the Year. He is primarily known for his long career at Real Madrid and his constant presence in the Brazil ian national team.

Carlos spent most of his club career at Real Madrid , where he played from 1996 to 2007. During his time with the Spanish giants, he won four La Liga titles and three UEFA Champions League trophies. He is one of the few players to have made over 1,100 professional career appearances at the club and international level.

The Nepal Super League , a knockout football competition featuring seven franchise teams, began its third season on Saturday, March 29, at Kathmandu's Dasharath Stadium.

The seven teams competing are Butwal Lumbini FC, Dhangadhi FC, FC Chitwan, Jhapa FC, Pokhara Thunders, Lalitpur City FC, and Kathmandu Rayzrs.

Seven teams will participate in a one-round robin competition. Subsequently, the two finalists will be decided through the participation of four squads in the two qualifying matches and an elimination round.

The final is scheduled for April 26. The third edition did not see Birgunj United FC or Sporting Ilam De Mechi FC participate, in contrast to the second edition, which had nine teams. (ANI)
