Launched as part of the SG60 festivities.

Shopee Singapore has introduced the Shopee Majulah Club to assist seniors in saving money and shopping online.

Launched during the SG60 festivities, this program offers individuals in Singapore who are 50 years old and older special benefits, preferential deals from brands, and assistance with digital skills to simplify and reduce costs associated with online purchasing.

Seniors who qualify can enroll simply by updating their date of birth within the Shopee application. After verification, they'll enjoy a 20% cashback offer without needing to meet any spending threshold, along with special promotions from retailers such as Shopee Supermarket, Guardian, and New Moon. They’ll have access to exclusive offers labeled "$6 and below" and "$60 and below." Additionally, members will automatically be elevated to Gold Tier status in the Shopee Loyalty Program, which comes with benefits including complimentary next-day delivery vouchers.

Shopee experienced a 10% growth in users who are 50 years old and older from 2023 to 2024.

By launching this program, our objective is to enhance online shopping experiences for older adults, making them more user-friendly and advantageous," stated Chua Kel Jin, director of Shopee Singapore. "We strive to equip them with the necessary confidence, resources, and assistance so they can actively engage in the digital marketplace and reap the benefits that modern technology offers in everyday life.
