Dia berkata, "Dalam seluruh hidupku, tak pernah aku mengalami guncangan gempa bumi sehebat ini di Bangkok." </p> <p> </p> <p> Paul Vincent, seorang wisatawan asal Inggris, tengah menghabiskan waktunya di salah satu bar tepi jalanan saat guncangan gempa bumi melanda. </p> <p> "Selanjutnya, seluruh orang bergegas menuju jalanan, sehingga timbul banyak teriakan dan ketakutan, yang tentunya membuat situasi menjadi lebih buruk," ujarnya. </p> <p> Saat dia keluar ke jalanan, ia menyebutkan bahwa ia melihat bangunan bertingkat berayun-ayun dengan air menetes dari kolam renang yang ada di lantai atasnya. </p> <p class=""> Menurut laporan Kompas.com, gempa berkekuatan 7,7 skala Richter yang terjadi di Myanmar pada hari Jumat, tanggal 28 Maret 2025, menewaskan 23 orang di Myanmar dan Thailand. Dampak kerasnya getaran ini membuat beberapa struktur roboh, seperti gedung pencakar langit dan jembatan, dengan delapan puluhan pekerja tertimbun di sebuah gedung tinggi yang ambruk di Bangkok. </p> <p class=""> Sejumlah beberapa menit usai guncangan pertama, muncul gelombang gempa kedua berkekuatan magnitudo 6,4. </p> <p class=""> Pemerintah Myanmar mengumumkan kondisi darurat di keenam daerah yang terpukul paling berat oleh musibaha ini. WHO atau Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia menjelaskan bahwa guncangan kuat itu merupakan ancaman signifikan bagi nyawa dan kesejahteraan warga setempat. </p> <p class=""> Kira-kira 20 orang dikonfirmasi tewas di sebuah rumah sakit di ibukota Naypyidaw, Myanmar, menurut pernyataan seorang dokter kepada AFP yang meminta untuk tidak disebut nama. </p> <p class=""> Di Thailand, tiga individu telah dipastikan meninggal dunia usai sebuah menara bertingkat yang belum rampung konstruksinya runtuh. Di samping itu, 81 orang lagi dilaporkan menghilang dan diduga tertimbun reruntuhan bangunan tersebut. </p> <p class=""> <strong> Upaya Penyelamatan Korban </strong> </p> <p class=""> Myanmar menderita akibat paling parah dari musibah tersebut. Ribuan korban datang ke rumah sakit di Naypyidaw, tempat bagian gawat darurat yang baru saja roboh menimpa sebuah kendaraan. </p> <p class=""> Pada saat senja datang, AFP melaporkan bahwa para pemadam kebakaran tengah mencoba menyelamatkan seorang wanita dan anaknya yang terjebak runtuhan gedung di ibukota Myanmar. Mereka kedua-duanya menderita cedera parah; bagaimana pun juga, pasukan evakuasi merasa sulit untuk sampai kepada mereka, demikian jelas oleh pejabat dari Badan Banjir Merah. </p> <p class=""> </p> <p class=""> Di Thailand, Wakil Perdana Menteri Phumtham Wechayachai membenarkan bahwa paling tidak ada tiga orang tenaga kerja meninggal dunia karena gedung runtuh di sekitar area Pasar Chatuchak, Bangkok. Hingga saat ini, 81 pekerja lainnya masih tertimbun di bawah sisa-sisa bangunan tersebut. </p> <p class=""> Regu pembebasan terus menggali metode yang aman untuk menyelamatkan orang-orang yang selamat dari sisa-sisa gedung tersebut. </p> <p class=""> <strong> Gempa dengan kekuatan 7,7 mengguncangi Myanmar akibat aktivitas Sesar Sagaing. </strong> </p> <p class=""> Gempa bumi dengan kekuatan 7,7 skala Richter menggetarkan area Mandalay, Myanmar, pada hari Jumat (28/3/2025) jam 1:20 sore waktu Indonesia Bagian Barat. Menurut data dari Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG), pusat gempa terletak di titik koordinat 21,76 derajad Utara dan 95,83 derajad Timur, dengan kedalaman sekitar 10 kilometer. </p> <p class=""> Berdasarkan posisi hipocenter dan kedalaman kejadian, fenomena ini termasuk dalam kategori gempa dangkal yang dipicu oleh gerakan patahan pada Sesar Besar Sagaing.
