 2일 한국거래소에 의하면 올해 첫 분기인 1월부터 3월까지 개인들이 많이 사들인 상위 10개의 ETF 가운데 미국 주요 지수(EFT, 나스닥100)를 제치고 가장 큰 비율을 차지하는 것은 사실상 파킹 형 EPT였습니다. KODEX CD 금리 액티브(합성)는 총 매수가격에서 2조 2천 4백 7십 억 원으로 여섯 번째로 높았으며, RISE 머니 마켓 액티브는 1조 6천 5백 십억 원으로 아홉 번째 위치했습니다. 그 다음으로 KODEX 머니 마켓 액티브가 1조 6천 9억 원으로 열번째 자리에 있었습니다.(레버리지를 사용하지 않은 것과 반대로 작용하는 제품들은 포함되지 않았으며, 해당 데이터는 3월 말 일자 기준입니다.)

 지난해 1분기에 비해 올해 파킹형 ETF에 대한 개인의 순매수금액은 7695억원에서 7954억원으로 3.37% 상승했습니다. 또한 전 분기인 2024년 4분기의 7198억원보다는 10.50% 더 크게 증가함을 알 수 있습니다.

 1분기에 주차형 투자에서 많은 자금이 들어왔다. 가장 많이 유입된 상품은 KODEX 머니마켓액티브로 약 1조 5531억 원을 기록했으며, 그 뒤를 이어 KODEX CD1년금리플러스액티브가 2위에 오르며 2163억 원의 자금이 모였다. RISE 머니마켓액티브는 3위를 차지하며 1975억 원의 자금이 입증되었고, TIGER CD금리플러스액티브와 SOL 초단기채권액티브 역시 각각 4위와 5위를 달성하여 각각 1904억 원과 1875억 원의 자금이 유입되었다. 특히, KODEX 머니마켓액티브는 올해 전체 ETF 중에서도 최대 규모의 자금 유출입을 보였습니다.


 윤성인 삼성자산운용의 매니저는 "KODEX 머니마켓액티브가 단기간 내에서 만기가 도래하는 채권과 유동성을 유지하기 위한 자산으로 이루어진 기준 인덱스를 따르므로, 금리 변화로 인한 영향을 줄여서 투자자의 돈이 꾸준히 들어오고 있는 것 같다"라고 밝혔습니다.


 윤 매니저는 "국내와 해외에서 정경 유불안으로 인해 자산의 가격 변동성이 커짐에 따라 안전하게 이용할 수 있는 파킹형 상품을 찾는 투자자의 관심이 급증하고 있다고 보았다."


 파킹형 상품 이외에도 안전자산으로서의 금에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 관련 ETFにも 자금이 유입되었습니다. 1분기에 개인투자자는 ACE KRX금현물 ETF를 통해 총 2831억원을 순매수하였습니다.


 도널드 트럼프 대통령의 상호 관세 부과 발표와 인플레 압력 속 경제 침체 가능성에 대한 걱정으로 금 가격이 계속해서 상승 중이다. 지난 31일(현지 시간), 뉴욕상업거래소(NYMEX)에서는 온스 당 금 값이 역대 최고치인 3,160 달러까지 치솟으면서 기록을 갈아쳤다.


 남용수 한국투자신탁운용 ETF운용본부장은 "대규모 미국 발불확실성 때문에 안전 자산으로서 골드 상품ETF가 관심받게 되었으며, 시장에서 철수한 투자자들와 더 높은 수익률을 목표로 하는 투자자들이 이러한 유형의 ETF를 선택하게 된 것으로 보입니다."라고 밝혔습니다. 그는 또한 "(파킹형 ETF는) 하루 단위로 복합적인 수익률을 추적하고, 일정 기간 동안 자금을 묶어 두면 이자를 얻을 수 있는 등의 이유 때문일 것입니다. 이런 특징들은 소비자의 입장에서는 매력적으로 작용했을 가능성이 큽니다"라는 견해도 덧붙였습니다.
