World's Oldest Michelin-Star Restaurant Strips a Star

After more than forty years, it has now lost its third star. </strong> </p> <p> No other restaurant listed in the famous <strong> Michelin Guide </strong> had held a star for such a long time. </p> <p> The restaurant <strong> Georges Blanc </strong> has been around for 153 years and received its first star in 1929 under the grandmother of the current chef, the 82-year-old Georges Blanc. It was only since 1926 that the Michelin Guide began awarding stars to high-class restaurants. In 1931, Blanc's grandmother, Élisa, also received the second star. </p> <p> On March 31st, the Michelin Guide will announce the new list of starred restaurants.
