 There were many players, including Messi, all those who had the number 10 jersey back then.

 It's a lovely recollection. It marked my first appearance.

 Absolutely, all the time. However, I wasn't actively seeking out a club. My friends and I were hanging around the streets when it was that same teacher whom you pointed out who led me to join the club. He happened to be my gym instructor, and he would transport me to practice sessions using his vehicle before dropping me home afterward. This routine continued daily following school hours.

 Does he take you for a two-hour drive every day?
 


 Certainly, but not daily; it was only on three days each week.


 
 Were you wearing that blue shirt?
 


 Sure, but I didn’t have any shoes, see? Somebody loaned them to me.

 It happened during a tournament. The person who took me to Sporting noticed me. He mentioned wanting to speak with me, yet at that point, I wasn't aware of his identity. He stated, "I represent Sporting; I came specifically to watch you play, and I really liked your style." After the game, we did not cross paths again.


 It was a story I've recounted numerous times. That particular day, while I was at school, I stepped out for some reason. He trailed me back to my house and rang the bell. Honestly, I had no clue who he was. When I answered the door, all I saw was a knife. Then, he reassured me saying, "Don't be afraid; I'm just here as a Sports Recruiter."


 
 Who is this man?
 


 His name is Aderita. At Sporting, he would assist players who had very little. He'd provide them with cards to purchase food at the shops.


 
 Was he some sort of patron?
 


 Yes, he was.

 Yes, I understand everything. Even though he passed away today, he was aware that I admired him and he supported me greatly.


 
 How do you feel about sporting events?
 


 Nearly everything, since Sporting bestowed upon me all these things. They have been instrumental in my life both on and off the field. They provided immense support. There was an individual who, during my time at Sporting, would take me home daily.


 I would ride the bus for my training sessions, and afterward, he'd drive me back home because it had become quite late. Our practice started at 6 p.m., and once we finished, typically about 9 p.m., it was too late to catch the bus again.


 I was too young back then, which is why he would always bring me along with him. Nowadays, I occasionally chat with him, and his name is Senhor Vicente. That’s how we addressed him in those days. In the past, he would often take both me and some of my coworkers home.

 Absolutely, that's the top priority for me. Each day, these memories stay with me. Whether I'm out on the field or celebrating significant victories, I recall everyone who supported me along the way. It brings me great joy knowing they share this happiness with me as well.

 I participated in the selection process. At the final moment, after speaking with my agent, I informed him of my desire to someday play for Paris Saint-Germain.

 Sure, and thus he informed me just moments before that PSG had shown interest in me. Without hesitation, I agreed to sign. With only 2 minutes remaining until the transfer window closed, we managed to pull through. Here I stand now.

We're all aware of what an excellent institution it is. Since joining, my focus has shifted towards maintaining momentum moving forward.

 Sure, you might put it that way, step by step. It’s not complete just yet, but gradually, I am attempting to etch my presence into this club, and I believe I'm heading in the correct direction. My teammates are exceptional players; they assist me daily. In my view, I must continue moving forward to leave an indelible impression on this club.


 
 If you encountered your future self 10 years from now, young boy, what would you tell him?

 La Chine et la Russie progressent en Afrique, comment explique-t-on l’expansion de ces deux pays sur le continent, quel est le comportement des gouvernements africains à leur égard, et comment la société civile peut-elle se saisir de ces questions ? Africanews interroge Aïsha Dabo, coordinatrice et cofondatrice des programmes de l’organisation panafricaine Africtivistes, à l’occasion du festival du film et forum international sur les droits de l’homme 2025 à Genève, qui a organisé un débat sur la question.

 Vous avez notamment dirigé des initiatives numériques visant à promouvoir la sécurité numérique, combattre la désinformation et renforcer la gouvernance démocratique en Afrique, qu’avez-vous observé de l’évolution de l’opinion publique sur le continent, influence-t-elle le comportement des gouvernements africains dans la gestion de leurs partenariats internationaux ?
 


 Les citoyens africains veulent que leurs dirigeants représentent leurs intérêts comme il faut, maintenant il y a un grand écart entre ce que les populations veulent et ce que les dirigeants sont entrain de mettre en œuvre, les accords qu’ils signent, les partenariats qu’ils négocient. Chez Africtivistes en tant que réseau panafricain, nous encourageons les quelques gouvernants ou secteurs privés à négocier pour l’intérêt général.


 
 Le continent est très convoité pour ses ressources, et il a été et est toujours un terrain d’affrontements entre les blocs. Diriez-vous que les gouvernements africains ont compris qu’il pouvait se servir de ces luttes pour en sortir bénéficiaires ?
 


 Dès lors que cela favorise les intérêts du pays et qu’il s’agit de partenariats bénéfiques pour toutes les parties concernées, je ne vois aucune objection là-dessus.


 Si cela se fait uniquement pour les intérêts privés de l'élite, cela ne peut pas perdurer car il s'agit d'accords où les ressources naturelles du peuple sont mises en jeu. Cela concerne non seulement la population actuelle mais également toutes celles futures.


 En ce qui concerne le Sénégal, lorsque le nouveau gouvernement est entré en fonction, il a exprimé son intention d'examiner les accords qui ne profitaient pas au bien commun de la populace. Actuellement, des pourparlers se déroulent afin qu'ils puissent évaluer les décisions prises précédemment par l'administration antérieure, comprendre leur mise en œuvre et vérifier s'il était question du bénéfice global des Sénégalais lors de ces choix.


 
 L'Afrique attire de nombreux acteurs internationaux, avec la Russie et la Chine étant parmi les premiers à avoir commencé cette expansion, qui s'est révélée être la plus notable. Quelles stratégies ces deux nations ont-elles utilisées?
 


 Que ce soit la Russie, la Chine ou d'autres puissances, elles recherchent avant tout des ressources ainsi que l'influence mondiale associée en Afrique ; rien d'autre ne les motive. Il incombe désormais aux Africains, plus précisément à leur élite responsable des négociations, de saisir cette réalité et de défendre leurs propres intérêts, et non uniquement ceux du dirigeant actuel et de sa clique.


 Cela dépasse ce cadre et c'est précisément pourquoi notre effort de sensibilisation et de diffusion d'information est axé sur l'équipement des jeunes ainsi que des communautés afin qu'ils puissent mieux appréhender leurs droits et obligations, leur permettant ainsi de formuler des choix informés. C'est dans cet objectif que nous concentrons nos actions.


 
 C'est exactement ce que vous accomplissez avec Africtivistes : vous équipez la société civile et le public pour comprendre les enjeux, afin de leur fournir ensuite des outils qu'ils peuvent utiliser pour passer à l'action ?
 


 Bien sûr, c'est précisément la démocratie qui nous préoccupe ; nous pensons qu'elle pourrait être un système viable, adaptable selon chaque nation, pourvu que ses trois branches de pouvoir soient indépendantes et que les citoyens puissent s'exprimer librement.


 Actuellement, nous mettons l'accent sur la sensibilisation afin que les citoyens puissent comprendre le fonctionnement de ces systèmes. En qualité de citoyen, vous avez non seulement le droit de voter et de payer des taxes, mais aussi celui d'avoir accès à certaines informations. À quel usage servent vos contributions financières? Est-ce qu'on vous permet de suivre leur utilisation? Quelles démarches devez-vous entreprendre pour obtenir des explications ? Si vous souhaitez avoir connaissance d'informations publiques qui ne relèvent pas du secret d'état, celles-ci devraient être accessibles. De plus, lorsque des accords sont conclus au nom du public, ceux-ci doivent également être rendus visibles.


 Au cours de cette démarche, nous créons des instruments technologiques visant à accroître la participation des citoyens. Nous cherchons, malgré nos limitations, à ne plus être simplement les spectateurs de notre avenir et à éviter que d'autres n'imposent leurs choix quant au visage que devra revêtir l'Afrique de demain.

 Pour la huitième fois consécutive, la Finlande est le pays le plus heureux où vivre. Le Danemark et L'Islande complètent le podium. Dans le top dix, suivent ensuite

 a Suède, les Pays-Bas, le Costa Rica, la Norvège, Israël, le Luxembourg et le Mexique.


 Le rapport est basé sur les données de la
 Gallup World Poll
 provenant de personnes dans plus de 140 pays. Les pays sont classés en fonction de leurs évaluations moyennes de la vie au cours des trois années précédentes, donc pour ce rapport de 2022 à 2024.


 L'enquête demande à chaque participant d'évaluer leur vie dans son ensemble. Le rapport examine six variables clés dans ces évaluations de la vie : le produit intérieur brut par habitant, le soutien social, l'espérance de vie en bonne santé, la liberté, la générosité et la perception de la corruption.

 Since 1981, the restaurant Georges Blanc in Vonnas, located in the Ain department, in the south-east of France, had three Michelin stars. After more than forty years, it has now lost its third star.

 has been around for 153 years and received its first star in 1929 under the grandmother of the current chef, the 82-year-old Georges Blanc. It was only since 1926 that the Michelin Guide began awarding stars to high-class restaurants. In 1931, Blanc's grandmother, Élisa, also received the second star.


 On March 31st, the Michelin Guide will announce the new list of starred restaurants. Establishments that lose a star are informed earlier.

 The actress, who disclosed in October 2023 that she was fighting a uncommon form of cancer affecting the adrenal glands, passed away at a hospital outside Paris on Sunday night, as reported by her representative Danielle Gain for AFP.
 
 
 Dequenne, who was born on August 29, 1981, began her studies at the Music & Spoken Word Academy in Baudour, Belgium, when she was young. At just 12 years old, she started engaging with drama and also became part of the La Relève Theater company.
 
 
 She got her debut film role when she was 17 years old in

 She secured the Best Actress award at Cannes in 1999 for her role as the young protagonist residing in a trailer park alongside her alcohol-dependent mother in the movie. This same film earned the Dardenne brothers their initial Palme d'Or accolade.
