Hanoi's Noi Bai climbed 17 spots from last year to 79th while Da Nang rose 10 places to 84th in this year's global ranking of 100 best airports as voted by Skytrax, a British airline and airport review and ranking site.

The ranking is part of the annual World Airport Awards 2025, based on passenger satisfaction surveys across various categories, including check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security, immigration, and departure processes.

In recent years, Noi Bai Airport has improved its services by adding phone charging stations, providing free Wi-Fi, and upgrading facilities to better accommodate passengers with disabilities.

The airport's T2 international terminal was expanded at a cost of VND5 trillion (US$196.4 million), with additional check-in counters and scanners installed to boost its capacity to 10–15 million passengers annually.

Located approximately three kilometers from downtown Da Nang, the airport has implemented an automated passport control system aimed at reducing the burden on immigration staff, expediting processes for travelers, and improving safety measures.

Changi Airport Singapore was crowned the world's top airport this year, with Hamad International Airport in Qatar coming in second place, followed by Tokyo International Airport in Japan and Incheon International Airport in South Korea.
