Los Angeles [US], April 11 (ANI): The highly anticipated film "First Steps of The Fantastic Four," starring Pedro Pascal, is scheduled for theatrical release this July.
In a press statement regarding his role in the Fantastic Four movie, Pedro Pascal remarked, "This significant development wasn’t something I anticipated. It dramatically altered the trajectory of my life quite abruptly, thus requiring me to go through various stages of adjustment."
The 37th entry in the MCU aims to offer a revitalizing change by immersing itself deeply in retro nostalgia while adding a distinctive futuristic spin.
Describing the movie's atmosphere as 'Retro-Futuristic,' director Matt Shakman shared insights into his distinctive mood board for the film’s setting.
We understood that we would be depicting another version of Earth, which gave us an opportunity to reimagine how the ‘60s appeared," Shakman explained. "I was particularly intrigued by the idea of portraying the Fantastic Four as astronauts. What if they were actually the pioneers who journeyed into outer space before anyone else—ushering in new frontiers for humanity instead of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin heading to the moon?
Directed by Matt Shakman and produced by Kevin Feige, with music composed by Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" will premiere in theaters on July 25, 2025. (ANI)
