 In "Project Hail Mary," Ryan Gosling portrays a somewhat awkward and decidedly non-Ken-like character who transforms from a science instructor into an astronaut. This sci-fi thriller was showcased by Amazon MGM Studios during their presentation for cinema operators at CinemaCon on Wednesday.
 
 
 Gosling informs the government handler (Sandra Hüller), who has selected him for a perilous space mission, 'I added the 'not' to astronaut,' he says. 'I can’t even do the moonwalk,'
 
 
 The movie, based on Andy Weir's popular book of the same title, tells the story of an average person who discovers they have the skills necessary for venturing into the farthest parts of space.
 
 
 Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, known for directing hits like "The Lego Movie" and "21 Jump Street," have taken charge of a project based on a script penned by Drew Goddard. This script adapts Andy Weir’s novel "The Martian" into another successful film featuring Matt Damon.
 
 
 Rights to Weir's book ignited a bidding competition, ultimately leading to MGM Studios acquiring them for $3 million before their acquisition by Amazon. In 2023, Gosling took center stage in the blockbuster hit "Barbie." Additionally, he co-starred with Emily Blunt in "The Fall Guy" from last summer; although critically acclaimed, the film did not resonate with viewers.

 BBC
 is set to launch a fresh detective series perfect for fans of Sherlock.


 According to Elizabeth George’s Inspector Lynley
 crime
 Novels, a fresh adaptation is making its way onto screens, over twenty years since the first version.


 The Inspector Lynley Mysteries aired on BBC One from 2001 to 2008, featuring Nathaniel Parker and Sharon Small.


 Now,
 Leo Suter
 and
 Ted Lasso
 star Sofia Barclay are taking over as ‘brilliant police detective but an outsider in the force’ due to his aristocratic upbringing Inspector Tommy Lynley and DS Barbara Havers, ‘a sergeant with a maverick attitude and a working-class background’.


 ‘With seemingly nothing in common and against all odds, the mismatched duo of Lynley and Havers become a formidable team, bonded by their desire to see justice done,’ a press release teases.


 The cast also includes
 Daniel Mays
 as DCI Brian Nies, who has an aversion to Limley ‘partly born of his own insecurities about class and partly because he knows he’s no longer the smartest person in the room’, as well as Niamh Walsh as estate agent and Lynley’s love interest Helen Clyde, Michael Workeye as tech specialist Tony Bekele and Joshua Sher as forensic scientists Simon St. James.

 Though an official release date has yet to be announced, four episodes are due to arrive on BBC iPlayer and BritBox in the US and Canada.


 Author Elizabeth said of the revival: ‘I’m thrilled to see Thomas Lynley and Barbara Havers come to television again, especially through the participation of the BBC and Britbox and the production expertise of Playground.


 ‘Watching my characters brought to life on television is a real celebration.’

 Lynley wrapped up filming in December, with Vikings: Valhalla star Leo expressing his eagerness to 'share it with the world' and reminiscing about the joyful days and cherished moments spent in Ireland with his Lynley family.

 Following years of talk about reboots, Disney+ declared a four-episode return of

 The majority of the initial cast members are set to come back for this short series. Nevertheless, Per Sullivan won’t be part of it. He played Dewey, Malcolm’s younger sibling who was recognized for being clever and sharp-witted. These distinctive characteristics will instead be revived by another performer.

 Cooper, 15, is from the north of England - something that connected him and his character on the show, as it was filmed in Yorkshire. "The fact that the story was set in the north and it's a northern story was the thing that I found most relatable, because I'm also from the north," he told the Liverpool Echo. Owen is the youngest of three siblings.


 In the same interview he admitted he has no idea where he got his acting skills from. "Both of my brothers are electricians and my mum's a carer," he said. "My dad works in IT. So, I've no clue where it comes from."

 is Cooper's first acting role - ever. "I only really wanted to start acting a couple of years ago," he told Variety. "It's not been long. I grew up wanting to be a footballer. I don't know what it was that made me want to do it, but I just wanted to do it."


 He said that he ended up going to lessons and enjoyed it. After getting into an agency called The Drama Mob, he got a self-tape request for
 Adolescence
 . "I sent this tape off, not expecting anything back, then a month later I get a recall in Manchester. It's a whirlwind, to be honest," he told The Mail on Sunday.

 aired, critics haven't stopped raving about the youngster's acting skills. "Everyone's been saying such nice things," he told Variety. "My agent has seen it [

 ] and she said it was really good."


 It's not just his agent and the critics who have been singing his praises though. The director was thoroughly impressed with his work too. "He just absolutely blew me away. Actors train for years and years and still can't really master what Owen has mastered, which is basically just being in the moment and listening and being truthful," the show's director Philip Barantini told Variety.

 "The Last of Us" Emmy nominee Bella Ramsey revealed
 in an interview with British Vogue
 that they were diagnosed with autism after a crew member on the first season of the HBO drama series said they were showing signs of autism on set. Ramsey said it was "liberating" when they found out the diagnosis.
 
 
 "I've spoken a bit about neurodivergence before, but I always for some reason didn't want to say what it was," Ramsey said. "I got diagnosed with autism when I was filming season one of ‘The Last of Us.'"
 
 
 According to Ramsey, a member of the crew with an autistic daughter assumed Ramsey had it too, which prompted them to eventually seek out a formal psychiatric assessment and diagnosis. Ramsey described feeling like a "weirdo" and a "loner," admitting autism was something they had "always wondered" about. Ramsey also experiences sensory issues common to people on the spectrum, and expressed "painful hyperawareness of other people's micro-expressions and body language."
 
 
 For Ramsey, receiving their diagnosis was "freeing" and "it enables me to walk through the world with more grace towards myself about not being able to do the easy everyday tasks that everyone else seems to be able to do."
 
 
 "I've always been watching and learning from people," they continued. "Having to learn more manually how to socialise and interact with the people around me has helped me with acting." Ramsey said being on set helps them set a daily routine: "I have a call time, and I'm told what to wear, how to stand, where to stand and what to eat."
 
 
 Bella Ramsey stars as Ellie Williams in "The Last of Us," which returns April 13 for Season 2 on HBO.

 One of the highest-grossing films for the week between March 3rd and 9th isn’t a new release or an old classic but rather a decade-old crime drama led by Emily Blunt. Despite appearing out-of-the-blue, this resurgence can likely be attributed to "Sicario," the acclaimed 2015 suspense film where Blunt plays an FBI agent aiming to capture a high-ranking member of a Mexican drug cartel. Notably, the screenplay was penned by Taylor Sheridan, known for his work on “Yellowstone,” adding significant gravitas alongside contributions from numerous big-name stars, which enhances both its allure and popularity.

 "Sicario" stands out as an excellent crime thriller, earning nominations for three Academy Awards: Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, and Best Sound Editing. Looking back, one key aspect that distinguishes this movie is its direction by acclaimed filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, known later for directing "Blade Runner 2049" and the "Dune" sequels. It marked the screenwriting debut of Taylor Sheridan too. This combination brings considerable weight to the production alongside a stellar cast. Emily Blunt leads the group which features renowned actors like Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin, along with a young Daniel Kaluuya before "Get Out," and Jon Bernthal during his peak due to "The Walking Dead." Victor Garber, recognizable perhaps from his role as the methodical Sydney Bristow in “Alias,” adds further depth to the ensemble; I firmly believe each appearance elevates whatever show he’s part of.


 When "Sicario" was released, Sheridan wasn't yet the renowned figure he is today; however, this film established his reputation as an outstanding writer, winning him a Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay. Although "Sicario" explores similar themes about authority and the tension between legal boundaries and extralegal actions that later define the world of "Yellowstone," it stands quite apart from the Dutton family saga that Sheridan would go on to develop. In fact, "Sicario" aligns closely with another project of Sheridan’s outside the "Yellowstone" series.

 , but it’s even beginning to spark political change with calls for the series to be shown in schools.


 Written by Jack Thorne, the series has shone a light on British talent such as Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty, as well as teenage sensation Owen Cooper who is sensationally performing in his
 initial real paid acting role

 Nevertheless, as "Adolescence" keeps gaining popularity worldwide and becomes the top-streamed show of the week on Netflix in 71 nations, it has caused fans of Charlie Brooker’s "Black Mirror" to notice an interesting point.

 has been formally renewed for a fresh batch of episodes
 following what was thought to be the show's concluding third season.


 Although it remains unclear who precisely will come back, we do know that Ted’s son Henry will make an appearance. The part, which was initially portrayed by Gus Turner, is now being recast.

 Reports indicate that efforts are currently under way to find a fresh young performer to assume the part of Henry.


 In the initial three seasons, Turner was predominantly visible via FaceTime video calls with his father, who had relocated to the UK, as he and his mother Michelle (played by Andrea Anders) stayed in Kansas.


 The third-season conclusion saw Henry enthusiastically greeting his father as Ted decided to leave Richmond and head back to the United States.

 will start where season three concluded, with the initial episode being filmed in Kansas – where the newly casted actor portraying Henry might have the chance to demonstrate his football skills.


 It is thought that the change in casting for Henry is necessary because of an essential requirement for football skills. The new actor taking over as Ted’s son needs to be proficient on the football pitch.

 Reports indicate that Henry received an invitation to audition with the aim of retaining his part in the show.


 Sources indicate that Juno Temple, who portrays former glamour model and business owner Keeley Jones, is currently in talks to sign up alongside other confirmed cast members Sudeikis, Waddingham, Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift (who plays Leslie), all of whom secured their roles for the upcoming season way back in August.


 A release date for season four has not been announced yet, with Sudeikais—who also serves as an executive producer—recently stating that they are presently in the writers' room.


 In the third-season conclusion, Ted returned to his home in America to address some personal matters there, whereas Roy Kent (
 Goldstein
 ) took over as an assistant coach along with coach Beard (Brendan Hunt).
