Artist Yugyeom (YUGYEOM) unveiled his foray into K-pop via tours and talks in the United States.
Yugyeom successfully completed his 2025Solo World Tour (Trusty), which took place across nine cities in North America and Latin America, running from the previous month’s 20th until this month’s 5th. The tour showcased Yugyeom's significant global appeal, as evidenced by sold-out shows in both New York and Los Angeles, including an additional initial performance in L.A.
While on his tour, Yugyeom stopped at the University of Southern California (USC) in the U.S., where he engaged in insightful conversations about music and performances with students enthusiastic about K-pop. This segment was featured under the title 'Artist Spotlight: YUGYEOM,' which garnered significant interest.
Yugyeom shared his thoughts on the world tour, stating, "I felt grateful and fortunate to encounter fans from every corner of the globe." This conveyed his sentiments.
As a solo performer, it's crucial to follow your own path. I believe I qualify as an artist when I can envision an entire album from start to finish and bring it together," he expressed with enthusiasm, adding, "Regardless of what task you undertake, putting in 100% effort will ensure you have no regrets."
Yugyeom, who had interacted with fans during GOT7's comprehensive projects earlier in the year, shared an anecdote afterward saying, "It’s great that we’re all still together as longtime buddies."
Moreover, he genuinely addressed the development journey of solo artist Yugyeom, including his contributions to music and dance composition, as well as the transformations and hurdles within the K-pop sector, earning favorable reactions from the audience.
Yugyeom, having finished the North American & Latin America tour along with insightful talks, will keep his role as GOT7’s lead dancer and pursue his career as a solo artist. The group GOT7, featuring Yugyeom, plans to host their solo concert titled ‘NESTFEST’ (Nestfest) at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 2nd and 3rd, 2025.
