However, despite the anticipated rainfall, high humidity levels combined with above-normal minimum temperatures by 2-4°C may cause discomfort. </p> <p> The forecast suggests light to moderate rainfall across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, with heavy showers expected in isolated locations, including Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Theni, Dindigul, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Tenkasi, and Kanyakumari. Additionally, a trough in the easterlies extends from the Comorin area to South Tamil Nadu, bringing moisture-laden winds from the east, which are expected to trigger rainfall in the region. </p> <p> Meanwhile, the IMD has also warned that high humidity, coupled with persistently high temperatures, could lead to uncomfortable weather conditions in some parts of the state. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure, and stay updated with weather forecasts for further advisories. </p>
