He’ll be returning to our screens as Nate in the hotly anticipated third season of Euphoria next year, but until then, we’ll get our screen fix of Jacob Elordi in the Australian mini-series The Narrow Road to the Deep North.

Described as an “intimate character study of a complex man” this series is based on the award-winning novel of the same name. We’ve got everything you need to know about this new five-part series, including the new trailer and where to watch it.

What is The Narrow Road to the Deep North About?

This epic Australian drama set after World War II is based on Richard Flanagan’s Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name and charts the life of Lieutenant-Colonel Dorrigo Evans over five episodes. Dorrigo is played by Jacob Elordi as a young man and Ciarán Hinds stars as the older Dorrigo. The series follows Dorrigo through his passionate love affair with Amy Mulvaney (Odessa Young), his time held captive in a Japanese prisoner of war camp on the Thai-Burna “death railway”, and his later years spent as a revered surgeon and reluctant war hero.
