BBC Unveils New Detective Thriller That Will Captivate Sherlock Holmes Fans

 is set to launch a fresh detective series perfect for fans of Sherlock.


 According to Elizabeth George’s Inspector Lynley
 crime
 Novels, a fresh adaptation is making its way onto screens, over twenty years since the first version.


 The Inspector Lynley Mysteries aired on BBC One from 2001 to 2008, featuring Nathaniel Parker and Sharon Small.


 Now,
 Leo Suter
 and
 Ted Lasso
 star Sofia Barclay are taking over as ‘brilliant police detective but an outsider in the force’ due to his aristocratic upbringing Inspector Tommy Lynley and DS Barbara Havers, ‘a sergeant with a maverick attitude and a working-class background’.


 ‘With seemingly nothing in common and against all odds, the mismatched duo of Lynley and Havers become a formidable team, bonded by their desire to see justice done,’ a press release teases.


 The cast also includes
 Daniel Mays
 as DCI Brian Nies, who has an aversion to Limley ‘partly born of his own insecurities about class and partly because he knows he’s no longer the smartest person in the room’, as well as Niamh Walsh as estate agent and Lynley’s love interest Helen Clyde, Michael Workeye as tech specialist Tony Bekele and Joshua Sher as forensic scientists Simon St. James.

 Though an official release date has yet to be announced, four episodes are due to arrive on BBC iPlayer and BritBox in the US and Canada.


 Author Elizabeth said of the revival: ‘I’m thrilled to see Thomas Lynley and Barbara Havers come to television again, especially through the participation of the BBC and Britbox and the production expertise of Playground.


 ‘Watching my characters brought to life on television is a real celebration.’

 The series is being produced by Playground, the award-winning production company behind the likes of Wolf Hall and All Creatures Great and Small.


 It is also created by Sherlock writer Steve Thompson, who said: ‘It’s a privilege and a thrill to have the opportunity to adapt these wonderful books for television. Elizabeth George’s iconic characters are greatly loved and her gripping stories are smart and ingenious.’

 Lynley wrapped up filming in December, with Vikings: Valhalla star Leo expressing his eagerness to 'share it with the world' and reminiscing about the joyful days and cherished moments spent in Ireland with his Lynley family.

 Earlier, he hinted at a sneak peek of the new series by sharing: 'Excited to bring #Lynley back to life :-)'.

 幕府による当道座の取り締まりで、鳥山検校（市原隼人）と瀬以（小芝風花）は捕らえられ、蔦重（横浜）までも同心に連行されてしまう。その後釈放された蔦重は、大文字屋（伊藤淳史）から五十間道に空き店舗が出ると聞き、独立して自分の店を持てないかと考える。

 '로비'는 연구밖에 모르던 스타트업 대표 창욱(하정우)이 4조 원의 국책사업을 따내기 위해 인생 첫 로비 골프를 시작하는 이야기를 그린 영화다. '롤러코스터'(2013)와 '허삼관'(2015)에 이은 배우 하정우의 세 번째 연출작으로 하정우를 비롯해 김의성, 강해림, 이동휘, 박병은, 강말금, 최시원, 차주영, 박해수, 곽선영 등 대세 배우들이 출연했다.


 지난 2일 개봉한 '로비'는 현재 극장에서 영화 '승부'의 뒤를 이어 박스오피스 2위를 유지 중이다. 누적 관객 수는 16만 5313명.


 하정우는 이 영화의 주연배우이자 감독이다. 두 개의 막중한 임무를 동시에 맡은 셈인데, 그 때문인지 여느 때보다 영화를 알리는 데 최선을 다하고 있다. 얼굴을 비친 콘텐츠와 예능 프로그램만 해도 수개가 된다.

 또한 지난 5일 그는 강말금과 자신이 함께 찍은 사진에 특별한(?) 댓글을 달아 화제가 되기도 했다. 공개된 사진은 눈 내리는 날 함께 카메라 앞에 선 두 사람의 모습을 찍은 것인데 하정우가 "1일"이라는 댓글을 달며 '달달한 무드'를 보여준 것. 강말금은 '로비'에 출연한 배우이며, 감독 하정우의 장난 섞인 댓글은 다시 한번 영화에 대한 관심을 끌어올렸다.

 has finally addressed rumours that he auditioned to replace
 Steve Carrell
 in the US version of his hit sitcom,
 The Office.


 Speaking to
 The Independent
 for the 20th anniversary of the much-loved series, Gervais, who co-created
 the original British version
 with
 Stephen Merchant
 , spoke about transforming the Slough-based workplace mockumentary into a hit American comedy.

 Cast Steve Carell as Michael Scott, the regional manager at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company and the show's counterpart to Gervais’s character, David Brent.


 The show was immensely successful throughout its nine-season run; nonetheless, Carell left after the seventh season concluded, stating his desire to dedicate more time to his family.


 "When they were looking for the new boss [ultimately portrayed by Will Ferrell], they mentioned it would be great if I applied for the position [while playing Brent]," Gervais explained.

 When asked about discussions regarding his potential replacement for Carell after Carell departed, Gervais stated, "Such talks did occur. I am unsure whether they reached the stage where NBC contacted anyone directly or if these conversations were primarily driven by media speculation and feedback from the show’s audience."


 However, when he failed to appear in the US series, some suggested that he had auditioned and failed to get the part. “That’s fiction,” Gervais clarified.


 Elsewhere in the interview, Gervais shed light on his decision to turn down the role of Michael Scott before Carell was cast.


 “Before we cast, [producer] Ben [Silverman] called me and said ‘Why don’t you play Michael Scott?’ I said, ‘That is mental. It makes no sense at all.’

 투수가 배찬승, 내야수로는 심재훈, 차승준이 활약했고, 외야수에서는 함수호가 있었다. 이들 4명은 개성 넘치는 신예 4인조 팀을 이루어 서로 다른 특징으로 자신의 가능성을 보여주었다.


 좌완으로 활약하는 배찬승은 캠프 초기 실제 경기를 통해 152km의 강렬한 직구와 날카로운 슬라이더를 마음껏 구사하며 자신의 가능성을 입증했다. 그는 확실하게 바로 주축이 될 수 있는 선수였다. ‘신인이지만 곧장 기회를 얻을 만한 플레이어’라는 면에서 키움의 정현우와 더불어 가장 유망한 신인 왕 후보다중 한 명으로 꼽힌다. 좌완 불펜 요원이 부족했던 삼성이게 있어서 이는 정말 반갑고 소중한 발걸음이다.


 심재훈은 탁월한 수비와 타격, 그리고 뛰어난 주거 능력으로 공·수·주 모두에서 두각을 나타내며, 유격수 이재현과 3루수 김영웅 다음을 잇는 차세대 2루수로서 삼성 내야진의 세대 교체를 마무리 짓는 중요한 인물로 기대받고 있다.


 차승준과 함수호는 삼성 타순에 활력을 불어넣을 기대주들이 될 것입니다. 두 선수는 신인답지 않은 진중함과 공격적인 플레이로 캠프 및 전시 경기를 통해 꾸준히 관심을 모았습니다.

 기대와 다르게 오키나와에서 1군 캠프를 무사히 마치고 시범 경기도 모두 치른 4명의 선수들입니다. 하지만 개막 엔트리에서는 결과가 엇갈렸습니다. 오직 투수인 배찬승만 합류하게 되었습니다.


 세 명의 야수가 모두 퓨쳐스리그에서 시작한다. 이는 기대하지 않았기 때문이 아니라 그 반대로이다. 즉시 메인 리그에서도 활용할 만큼 실력이 되지만, 더 나아지기를 위해 많은 경기에 참여하여 신속하게 발전하기로 선택한 것이다.


 이 세 선수는 19일 상무와의 경기 이후로 퓨터스리그 대회에 참가하고 있다. 특히 심재훈은 21일 함평에서 열린 KIA 전에서도 대타로 나서 중견수를 넘어가는 투런 홈런을 기록했다.


 5번째 주자인 차승준은 1루수로서 경기 시작과 동시에 KIA의 5명 투수 중 한 명인 김도현을 상대하여 확실하게 2루 타석을 노리고 강력한 2루타를 쳤습니다.


 몬スター 뉴컴버 셋은 퓨처스 리그에서 일관되게 경기에 나서면서 메인 그룹의 대기열을 마련하고 있다. 주전 선수가 필요로 하는 순간에는 이들 세 명의 유망주가 이미 1군에 적응 가능한 상태라는 점에서는 특별함이 없다.

 お正月の格付けチェックが一流品を見極めるのに対し、春の格付けBASICは芸能人たちが「基本的なこと」や「当たり前のこと」がわかっているかをチェックする。

 今回の春の3時間スペシャルには、お正月の格付けでGACKTを消した鬼龍院翔とDAIGOが出題者として登場する。


 さらに細川たかし、藤木直人、佐々木希、神尾楓珠、石川佳純、森香澄、村重杏奈、あの、長谷川忍（シソンヌ）、紅しょうがが初参戦。総勢19名の一流芸能人たちが全問正解して当たり前のチェックで超真剣勝負を繰り広げる。


 今回も全員が一流芸能人からのスタート。間違えれば、普通、二流、三流、そっくりさんとランクダウン。最後は“映す価値なし”となって画面から消えてしまう。

 今回のチェック4では、手で波や花を表現するハワイの伝統的な舞「フラダンス」の世界的ダンサーを見極める。


 正解は、全日本フラ選手権優勝、さらにフラダンス界のオリンピックと称される「メリー・モナーク・フェスティバル」に5回も出場し、現地の名門チームのフロントメンバーとして踊った日本が誇る世界的なフラダンサー。


 不正解は趣味で週1回フラダンスを15年続けている女性で、普段は神社の巫女をしている。そしてこれを選んだら絶対アカンは番組AD。ADを選ぶと2ランクダウンする。


 後ろにバックダンサーを入れ、3人が同時に踊る。この問題はチーム全員でチェックを受けることに。

 チェック5の「写真」では、一流カメラマンが撮った写真と、カメラど素人が撮った写真を見比べる。


 正解の一流カメラマンは、昨年の男性写真集部門売上1位、Hey! Say! JUMP・山田涼介の写真集を撮影した前田晃さん。男の色気を撮らせたら右に出るものはないと言われ、人気男性ファッション誌『LEON』の表紙も手がけている。


 不正解はカメラど素人のケンドーコバヤシ。普段はスマホの写真すら撮らないそうで、一眼レフカメラも今回初めて触ったという。


 今回の写真モデルは、六平直政、ナダル、良ちゃん（鬼越トマホーク）に加え、ポーランド人美女1名。「男の色気」をテーマに写真を撮ってもらった。
