
CADDODB Parish, La. (KSLA) — Authorities apprehended a man accused of domestic violence following a short pursuit on Thursday, April 10.
According to the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 6 p.m., deputies received information indicating that James Ray Culotta, aged 55—a person sought for domestic abuse involving strangulation—was seen in the area of 6500 block of Green Briar Lane in the north section of the parish.

Upon their arrival, authorities state that Culotta attempted to flee by entering his vehicle but ended up driving off. The deputies pursued him until he exited the car and fled on foot towards Twelve Mile Bayou. To manage the scenario, law enforcement established a containment perimeter, according to the sheriff’s department.
Culotta was located and apprehended peacefully. Following a medical examination, Culotta was processed into custody at the Caddo Correctional Center.
