 Nintendo Direct（ニンテンドーダイレクト）とは、今後発売が予定されているゲームソフトの情報の紹介動画で、ファンの間では「ニンダイ」と略称されています。2日の22時より約60分放送された配信の中では、次世代ハードとなるニンテンドースイッチ2の詳細情報とともに、発売日が2025年6月5日であることが明かされました。また、“日本語・国内専用”版の価格は4万9980円（税込）であると発表されています。


 また、スイッチ2向けに『カービィのエアライダー』や『ドンキーコング バナンザ』といった数々の新タイトルが発売予定であると明かされました。


 今回の配信は、「

 」（同1910万人）や「
 
 フィッシャーズ
 
 」（同877万人）がゲームチャンネルで同時視聴配信をおこなうなど、多くのYouTuberが同時配信で発表を見守っていたのも特徴的でした。

 「せたちゅー」こと瀬田アナは2006年にNHKに入局し、長崎放送局、静岡放送局を経て2014年に東京アナウンス室へ異動。同年から2018年まで『あさイチ』でリポーターを務め、卒業の際には当時のMCだった有働由美子が別れを惜しんだ。その後、札幌放送局を経て、2023年に再び東京へ。ラジオニュースや『ハートネットTV』などに出演している。


 一方、佐々木アナは2016年に入局し、福井放送局、盛岡放送局を経て2023年より東京で勤務。同年より『あさイチ』に出演していたが、番組を卒業後は『新・BS日本のうた』のMCを務めることになっている。

 制作現場も寝耳に水だったアクシデント
</h2>

 「放送事故」。いまではSNSを賑わせる話題ですが、自分のような昭和世代にとっては、放送中に「しばらくお待ちください」という文字が数分間映っている、なんてことがけっこう頻繁にありました。これは厳密には放送事故ではないのですが、さまざまな部分を人の手が担っていたからこその、いま思えば「微笑ましい」ミスがほとんどだったのだろうと想像します。

 とはいえ、数分間待つというレベルではなく、視聴者を驚かせる事象がときおり起こったのも事実です。


 例えば、当サイトの他コラムでも話題になった、私にとっても縁浅からぬアニメ『鎧伝サムライトルーパー』の重複放送があります。前の週と同じ話数を翌週も放送してしまったという新聞にも載った珍事でした。


 そのため制作会社だったサンライズ（現：バンダイナムコフィルムワークス）としては、制作予定だった本数を1本減らさざるを得なくなったのです。


 かつてのアニメ番組はフィルムに撮影されたもので、TV局側はそのフィルムを映写機で写して放送していました。これがビデオシステムに移行しても、人の手で専用の機械にセットし放送電波に乗せていたので、ああしたミスも起こるのです。


 しかし、そんな事情とは無関係に、本来の作品意図とは違った放送状況になったものもあります。特に昭和時代には、局によって番組の放送時間の長さが違ったり、時には放送そのものが都合で切られてしまったりすることも、視聴者になんの告知もなく行われていました。


 いまならネット等での追従配信もありますが、当時は地上波のTV放送が全てです。TVで放送してくれない限り切られた部分は見ることができないので、数年後の再放送でやっと見られた、別の地方に行った時に違うバージョンを見て驚いた、というのも珍しくなかったのです。


 例えば東京地区等でも『デビルマン』（1972～1973年、制作：東映動画）は、地方局より放送時間が1分短かったためにエンディング部は無し、最終回も放送されずに終了しました。そのせいで、東京地区の視聴者は、再放送があるまでエンディングの存在も、もう一本あったことも知りませんでした。


 他社のことなので子細は分かりませんが、基本的に番組は契約時にキー局基本で制作本数や映像時間が決まります。『デビルマン』のこの地方局との差は、基本契約後に加わったことかもしれません。


 とはいえ『トルーパー』のようなアクシデントはまさに寝耳に水です。が、運良く制作現場のスケジュールは順調だったので、重複によって放送話数が1話分減ったことへの対応も可能だったのは幸運でした。


 ただ、話はこれで終わりません。

 二重放送事故の意外な影響
</h2>

 40代以上の方はご記憶でしょうが、『トルーパー』が放送されていた1989年1月、昭和天皇が崩御。TVはこぞって通常番組放送を自粛してしまいました。そのため、今度は1月7日に放送されるはずだった32話が翌週の14日にずれてしまったのです。


 『トルーパー』は2月いっぱいで放送終了予定の番組。1月ともなれば最終話も含め最終部分の実制作作業たけなわです。それなのに、いまから最後の盛り上がりのなかから1話分の内容を縮めることなど不可能です。


 しかし「そういえば重複放送されたことがあったよね。ならば、減ってしまった1本分、本来の放映期間からはみ出して放送してもらえない？」……という会話があったかどうかは知りませんが『トルーパー』の最終話は、通例に反して月を越えて3月4日に放送され、このズレはことなきを得ます。


 一方、局側も、重複放送の翌週の放送のなかで視聴者への謝罪を明示し、その素直さが返って視聴者やファンに好印象与えたのか、クレーム等が続いたという話は耳にしません。


 逆に重複放送が新聞などに取り上げられたことで『トルーパー』は全国的知名度を高め、これをきっかけに番組を見始めてくださった方もおり、視聴率が上がったと聞きます。


 まさに番組的には重複放送は「災い転じて福となす」だったわけです。


 放送事故は無いに越したことはありません。しかし世の中、なにが幸いするかなんて分からないものです。特に「人」が介在することであれば、そこには必ず「人の想い」が重なります。


 そのときは驚いたり慌てたりしたことも、いつしか「懐かしい思い出」として共有されて行くのですから。
