Four Real Madrid players including Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior are being investigated for alleged "indecent conduct" during the Champions League game at Atletico Madrid, UEFA said on Thursday.

UEFA announced that they have assigned a disciplinary inspector to examine the undisclosed accusations related to the round of 16 match held on March 12. This matter also includes Antonio Rüdiger and Dani Ceballos.

Social media videos displayed Mbappe celebrating on the pitch by gesturing towards his groin after Madrid secured victory through a penalty shootout.

If any restriction were enforced, it would result in a player being absent from Madrid's match against Arsenal on April 8, which is the first leg of the quarterfinals.

After winning the shootout against Atlético, Madrid moved forward to the quarterfinals. Rüdiger converted the crucial penalty kick and then joined his ecstatic teammates as they danced joyfully across Atlético's home pitch.

During a comparable case handled by UEFA at the previous European Championship, Madrid player Jude Bellingham received a one-match suspension deferred for a probationary period of one year.

When Bellingham equalized for England during the Round of 16 match against Slovakia with a goal in stoppage time, he made an inappropriate gesture towards his groin area. The match eventually concluded in England’s favor at 2-1 after extra time.

The UEFA disciplinary panel determined that Bellingham violated fundamental principles of proper behavior and imposed a fine of 30,000 euros ($32,400) on him.
