Lee Zeldin, the Environmental Protection Agency administrator, declared his choice to cancel a $2 billion grant allocated to a non-governmental organization associated with Stacey Abrams, backed by the Department of Government Efficiency.
'The DOJ/ FBI Are currently investigating, and the funds have been frozen," he stated. "It’s ludicrous that the Biden Administration would allocate $2 billion to an organization that formerly only received $100!

DOGE leader Elon Musk mentioned on social media that the Abrams grant from the Biden administration was merely one of numerous grants that the department has discovered.
'Numerous scams of this kind,' he penned.
The list included The budget includes $10 million allocated towards achieving 'gender equality in the Mexican workforce,' $12.2 million designated for 'empowering workers across South America,' and $6.25 million set aside for enhancing 'respect for labor rights within agricultural supply chains' throughout Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.



The budget cuts affected several initiatives including $5 million allocated to boost women’s involvement in workplaces across West Africa, $4.3 million intended to support foreign migrant workers in Malaysia, along with separate allocations of $3 million each; one aimed at improving social security and labor rights for domestic migrants in Bangladesh, and another focused on fostering safe and inclusive working conditions in Lesotho.
