  • In 2023, Chris and Tamira relocated with their children Olivia, who is 11, Scarlett, aged 9, and Bella, 5 years old.
  • EXPLORE FURTHER: I have journeyed around the globe with my family of six and managed to save £41,000 on lodging expenses throughout the years using a hidden vacation trick.

Many individuals long for a vacation, seeking a place that is warm and bright simply to escape everything temporarily, with the understanding that this break will be short-lived.

However, for some courageous individuals, they choose to dive in and transform their lives entirely for fresh starts.

That's precisely what the Hutchinson family did two years ago when they sold their home and left their careers behind to embark on global travels.

A five-member household from Corby, Northamptonshire, has departed the UK and adopted a contemporary nomadic lifestyle.

In 2023, Chris and Tamira moved away with their children — Olivia, who is 11, Scarlett, aged 9, and Bella, 5 years old.

Following that, they have made visits to Thailand , China and Malaysia , and are presently investigating Dubai - All while educating their three daughters at home.

In a video posted to their family site, TikTok account ( @thehutchinsons In January 2023, Tamira disclosed that they put their house on the market and by May, they were ready for an adventure as they boarded a flight with their family, embarking on a journey around the globe.

She informed her audience: "Indeed, we sold our family residence where we resided for a decade. We listed it for sale in August of 2022, which turned out to be quite a challenging time as we were uncertain about finding a buyer. Finally, in January 2023, we received an offer and successfully closed the deal in May."

She stated that she harbors no remorse over the choice and proceeded to elaborate that she feels her kids will thrive more by navigating the world.

"So yes, we sold our ancestral home, left our permanent positions, removed the children from their educational institutions, and since then, we've been traveling continuously as a unit, without any regrets," she stated.

In another clip, the mother of three shared her approach to educating her kids, mentioning that they do not attend conventional schools and expressing her disbelief in the UK educational framework.

"No, our children don't go to school anymore. We removed them from the educational system as we believed it wasn’t providing what they truly required," explained Tamira.

The nomad mentioned that she desired her children to receive greater attention, adding that it would be more beneficial for them to immerse themselves in various cultures rather than being confined to a classroom in the UK.

'I believe that being confined to a classroom with over 30 students daily had some significant impacts on my friends and family members who experienced certain health issues as a result. This situation truly startled all of us and reinforced our desire to provide our children with the finest opportunities possible. We aimed not only to expose them to the wider world but also to take charge of their education ourselves.'

She stated, "In the mornings, we educate them at home and utilize our traveling hours for what we call world schooling – exploring various nations, understanding diverse cultures, and discovering different cuisines."

However, Tamira mentioned that she adheres to the UK national curriculum for her daughters' education, ensuring they do not miss out on fundamental knowledge.

She mentioned, "I handle the home education following the English syllabus."

We document our experiences and continue to engage with them, ensuring that they do not go to any school. However, we still maintain their education according to the national curriculum of England.

But no, since attending school is not required, we can travel full-time.

When a follower queried whether her kids could form lasting friendships, Tamira dismissed this as a misconception. She explained that in the UK, even her oldest child’s group of friends remained together despite some going off to various secondary schools.

The TikToker further explained that Olivia’s friend circles were already disintegrating, noting that the educational system disrupts connections and ‘simply sends students to entirely different schools.’

'Switching schools and losing that circle of friends can be a very traumatizing transition, particularly when the child has no say in the matter,' she noted.

The couple have also as mentioned in earlier videos, they had multiple reasons for deciding to pack up and depart from the UK .

In an excerpt from a video, Chris the First cited the cost of living crisis in the UK as his reason. He stated, "Working non-stop seems to be the only way to cover basic needs and maintain shelter above our heads. There’s simply no space left for leisure."

In a previous video posted on their TikTok page, Tamira detailed how the family is managing their budget during their trips.

She mentioned that they allocate approximately £35 per night for lodging, and up to £40 for daily expenses such as food and drinks.

This differs from the family who spent approximately a month prior to leaving to cover their mortgage, utilities, food, gas, and various other costs.

The substantial expense of daily life was another factor behind the family’s departure from Britain. The parents recognized that they were missing crucial moments as their daughters grew up and barely saw one another due to the long hours they worked just to make ends meet.

Chris went on to disclose that the second rationale behind his decision not to go back to the UK was the prevalence of 'woke ideology.'

He stated: "You can't even scare a goose now. Everyone gets upset, everyone is shocked, which makes people feel uneasy and too frightened to speak up."

The third point he raised was about the weather.

'Unfortunately, this is something that cannot be altered,' he stated.

If you cannot spare the means to visit warmer places annually, it can become quite disheartening.

We experience approximately nine months of the year filled with dreariness and melancholy. When it finally transitions into what we call 'the British summer,' it mostly consists of rain. However, you could occasionally encounter that one unusually scorching day.
