The battery can be removed for charging at home and gets fully charged in 7.5 hours, after which it provides a range of 50 kilometers.
The ICON e: doesn’t necessitate a motorcycle operator’s license and is aimed at students.
Honda also provides an option for buying back motorcycles after three years and restoring them for resale to other clients. The firm declared that it plans to start renting out another electric variant, the CUV e:, starting in July; this model will be brought over from Thailand.
It will be leased for VND1.5 million per month rather than sold, with the aim of collecting customer feedback.
The CUV e: offers a driving distance of 80.7 kilometers when fully charged and can reach a top speed of 83 kilometers per hour.
Honda The biggest motorcycle retailer in Vietnam, holding 80% of the market, has adopted a cautious stance toward introducing electric motorcycles due to continued strong demand for petrol-powered vehicles.
