 シグラは、トヨタとダイハツが共同開発し、ダイハツが販売しているコンパクトMPV（マルチパーパスビークル=多目的車）。

 日本国内では販売されておらず、2016年からインドネシア市場で販売されているクルマです。
</p>
<p>
 2-3-2の3列シート7人乗りとなっており、インドネシアでは販売開始から約8年で、ファミリー層を中心に37万台を売り上げるほどの大人気車となり、現地のダイハツの売り上げの約3割を占めています。
</p>
<p>
 ボディサイズは、全長4110mm×全幅1655mm×全高1600mm、ホイールベースは2525mm。
</p>
<p>
 エクステリアは、フロントグリルやバンパーが横に広がったデザインで、車体のワイドさを強調しているのが特徴です。
</p>
<p>
 前輪の中心から車体の先端までの長さをやや長めに取り、そのぶん立体的ですっきりとした形状にすることで、上質さも醸し出しています。
</p>
<p>
 インドネシアは悪路が多く、突然の集中豪雨による路面の冠水も頻繁に起こることから、それらに対応するために、最低地上高を180mmと、SUV並みの高さに取りました。

 インテリアはシンプルなデザインで、後部座席用のクーラーが備わるなど、高温多湿なインドネシアの気候に合わせた快適装備を充実させています。
</p>
<p>
 パワートレインは、1リッター直列3気筒エンジン（最高出力67馬力・最大トルク89Nm）と、1.2リッター直列4気筒エンジン（最高出力88馬力・最大トルク107Nm）の2種類を用意。
</p>
<p>
 ギアボックスは1リッターモデルが5速MTのみ、1.2リッターモデルには4速ATも設定されています。
</p>
<p>
 ボディカラーは全7色から選択でき、価格は1億4150万ルピア（約130万円）からです。
</p>
<p>
 このような特徴を持つシグラに対し、現在日本国内でさまざまな反響が出ています。
</p>
<p>
 まず見られるのが、「いいな、日本にも導入してほしいです。とくにMTモデル」「日本でも1.2MT売ってくれ！」という、日本での販売を望む声。
</p>
<p>
 多数派ではないにしろ、MT仕様が用意されていることに惹かれるユーザーは一定数いるようです。
</p>
<p>
 つづいて見られるのが、「日本国外向けには面白そうなクルマを販売するのにな…」という声。
</p>
<p>
 ダイハツのラインナップに限らず、現行の日本国内のラインナップに満足していないユーザーの声であり、そのようなユーザーにとってインドネシアのシグラは魅力的に映るようでした。

 Zie hier de evolutie van de revolutie: de vernieuwde Hyundai Tucson. Vanbuiten lijkt er weinig te zijn veranderd, maar aan de binnenkant des te meer. Hyundai kreeg een paar jaar geleden de handen op elkaar toen ze de solide, maar voorspelbare designs van hun auto’s een voor een begonnen om te gooien. Niet alleen in Europa, maar overal ter wereld (kijk maar eens naar de Amerikaanse Elantra). De Tucson ging van een simpele crossover naar een (soort van) hip ding. Nu is het tijd voor een facelift.
</p>
<p>
 We beelden ons graag in hoe het keerpunt op Hyundai’s designafdeling er een aantal jaar geleden ongeveer uit moet hebben gezien. Iedereen zit stilletjes te werken aan zijn of haar saaie spatbord of koplamp wanneer één ontwerper plots een oerkreet slaakt, zijn monitor door de ruimte smijt en zijn vuist in een kleimodel ramt. ‘Niet langer!’ schreeuwt hij, en hij begint een nieuw ontwerp te pennen.

 Nieuwsgierige collega’s spieken voorzichtig achter hem mee. Zachte ooh’s en aah’s gaan over in aanmoedigende woorden. Vuisten boksen, handen klappen tegen schouders. Even later staat er een brave crossover, maar wel één zoals de wereld nog nooit heeft gezien. Dat was deze generatie van de Tucson, een paar jaar geleden.

 Wat is er nieuw aan deze Hyundai Tucson?
</h2>
<p>
 Inmiddels heeft Hyundai meer succes geoogst met gewaagde designs, waarop ze nu voortborduren door… dit ontwerp minimaal te wijzigen. De verzameling led’jes in de grille oogt wat georganiseerder, maar dat is ook meteen het voornaamste herkenningspunt. Aan de buitenkant, dan. Vanbinnen is de vernieuwde Tucson behoorlijk op de schop gegaan. Het interieur is nu in lijn met dat van de Kona en Santa Fe, met achter het stuur een lang, gebogen paneel met twee 12,3-inch breedbeeldschermen.

 De PRND-knop verdween ten gunste van een draai- en druksatelliet aan de stuurkolom, waardoor ruimte ontstond voor een zwevende middenconsole. Daarop prijkt een stroef laadplateau, plus een handjevol knoppen voor de belangrijkste rijfuncties. In deze plug-in – er is ook een hybride zonder stekker verkrijgbaar, vanaf 45k (40 in België) – vind je daar onder meer een toets waar ‘EV/HEV’ op staat.

 Hoe rijdt ie?
</h2>
<p>
 De Hyundai Tucson PHEV start altijd in de EV-stand, maar dat betekent niet dat de benzinemotor uitgeschakeld blijft. Wij rijden de auto bij lage temperaturen, wanneer het interieur waarschijnlijk het snelst en/of efficiëntst opwarmt als de verbrandingsmotor wordt ingezet. En dus rij je elektrisch rond, maar wel met een pluimpje uit je uitlaat. Dit duurt naar ons idee vaak iets te lang – na 20 minuten blijft de viercilinder nog steeds vrolijk in de vrijloop op 1.100 toeren hangen – maar door naar de hybridestand en weer terug te schakelen kun je de motor een zetje naar de ruststand geven.
</p>
<p>
 Er is ook een automatische modus, maar die lijkt overbodig. In de hybridestand is de Tucson namelijk al de efficiëntie aan het maximaliseren en zijn acculading aan het managen. Er is geen mogelijkheid om die ‘te bewaren voor later’, maar in de praktijk blijkt dat de Tucson zijn forse 13,8-kWh batterij steeds zoveel mogelijk op peil houdt – zoals een gewone hybride, eigenlijk. Dat is mooi, want met een elektrisch bereik van 67 kilometer ben je anders toch regelmatig aan het laden.

 Het onderstel van de Hyundai Tucson doet zijn werk gelikt en het stuur draait zo licht dat je al van richting verandert als je erop ademt; al is er een Sport-modus om de boel te verzwaren. De gasrespons wordt daarmee ook zo venijnig dat we meteen een doorspinnend voorwieltje hebben wanneer we vlot op een kruising willen invoegen. Ho ho, rustig maar.

 Hoe is het interieur van de Hyundai Tucson?

 De Tucson maakt indruk met zijn opzet en afwerking. In een middelgrote crossover hoor je fatsoenlijk achterin te kunnen zitten, als je het ons vraagt, en dat is hier zeker het geval. De gebruikte materialen zijn fraai en alles laat zich met een bepaalde gesmeerdheid bedienen, van de deurhendel tot de knipperlichtstengel. Ook de digitale ergonomie is voor elkaar, met betrekkelijk weinig vraagtekens boven onze hoofden wanneer we een bastoontje willen aanpassen of een recente bestemming willen wissen.

 Wat is de prijs van de Hyundai Tucson?
</h2>
<p>
 De tijd dat Hyundai in deze klasse echte prijsvechters maakte, ligt nu toch wel achter ons. De plug-in hybride Tucson rijd je vanaf 43.995 euro (49.999 euro in België), maar dan heb je het vlot ogende, stevig zittende N Line-pakket van onze testauto nog niet aangevinkt. Die uitvoering kost in Nederland minstens 51.895 euro – dat is weliswaar goedkoper dan een vergelijkbare Tiguan of RAV4, maar ook duurder dan de duurste plug-in Ford Kuga of Peugeot 3008. Nou ja, misschien moet iemand ergens op een financiële afdeling eens gillend met mappen gaan gooien…

 Dus, moet je de Hyundai Tucson kopen?

 Dat is helemaal geen verkeerd idee, wat ons betreft. Hij ziet er nog steeds aantrekkelijk uit, weet zijn acculading slim te managen en zit riant in zijn uitrusting. Oké, je kunt er niet altijd stilletjes mee wegsluipen in de ochtend – of was dat niet waarom je een PHEV wilde hebben? – en hij is relatief bezien niet het koopje van de week. Maar de Hyundai Tucson is zonder meer een auto die heel veel goed doet, en dat op zijn eigen eigenwijze manier.

 中村史郎氏は1974年にいすゞ自動車に入社し、デザイナーとしての一歩を踏み出した。いすゞが乗用車部門から撤退した後、日産の立て直しのために送り込まれたゴーン氏に請われて移籍を決断。多くの名作を生み出している。
</p>
<p>
 今回の賞は、生涯をデザインに捧げたことを讃えて送られたものだ。デザイナーとしてだけでなく、デザインマネージャーとしての手腕も高く評価された。

 デザイナー生活50年の節目に受賞したのは二重にめでたいことだね。この先も創造への意欲をかき立て、現役デザイナーとして名作を誕生させてほしい!!

However, it appears that the Firefly model will not feature this capability when initially released. Its battery capacity is notably less than what is typically utilized in such exchange systems.

 In April, Nio plans to unveil the Firefly hatchback along with the Firefly brand in China, where it will be priced at approximately A$32,486.

<p>
 Nio has already made its mark in the European market and plans for the Firefly to hit the streets in April. Given that exporting plays a crucial role—possibly the most significant one—in their strategy, Australia naturally comes into focus as the next step. Presently, we do not levy duties on automobiles imported from China, which makes this nation an attractive locale for establishing operations here.

 2025年1月に開催された国内最大級のカスタムカーイベント「東京オートサロン2025」で初公開され、注目を集めたのがダイハツ「ミライースGRスポーツ コンセプト（以下、ミライース GRスポーツ）」です。
</p>
<p>
 あくまでコンセプトモデルという扱いでしたが、その完成度の高さから、市販間近との情報もあり、軽自動車のスポーツモデルの登場に多くのファンが期待しているようです。

ターボ×MTを搭載したダイハツ「ミライース GRスポーツ コンセプト」

 ミライース GRスポーツは、ダイハツが2024年全日本ラリー選手権などに参戦したモータースポーツ参戦車両のノウハウを注入したというスペシャルモデル。トヨタのレース部門である「Toyota Gazoo Racing」が手掛けた「GRモデル」です。

 外観は、専用バンパーやグリル、エンブレムなどが装着されたほか、モールやミラー、ホイールなど各所がブラックで引き締められていますが、サイズはベースとなった「ミライース」と同じ全長3395mm×全幅1475mm×全高1500mmです。
</p>
<p>
 しかし中身は「コペンGRスポーツ」にも搭載されている660ccターボエンジンと5速MTを移植し、最高出力は自主規制枠いっぱいの64PS、最大トルクは9.4kgmになると予想されています。
</p>
<p>
 インテリアもベース車の面影を残しつつ、ブラックを基調とするなかで、一部に赤のパイピングを用いたコーディネートを採用。ステアリングはMOMO社製、シートはRECARO社製のスポーツシートを搭載し、シンプルかつ経済性に優れたベース車両とは一線を画したスポーティな仕立てとなっています。

<p>
 本格軽スポーツを実現したミライース GRスポーツですが、これには軽最強ともいわれるスズキ「アルトワークス」オーナーであるKさんもかなり気になっているようです。
</p>
<p>
 「まず、ベース車の形を崩さずに『GR』ブランドらしい赤と黒でまとめているのがいいですね。それでいてBBS社製の16インチを履いているのでバネ下の軽量化もできていそうです。
</p>
<p>
 ここにGRがチューニングしたサスペンションが加わるのですから、かなり速いのも想像がつきます。私のアルトワークスといい勝負しそうですね」
</p>
<p>
 ちなみにアルトワークスに搭載されるターボエンジンのスペックは、最高出力64PS・最大トルク10.2kg-mとなっており、トルクが若干厚め。それだけグイグイ加速するともいえます。
</p>
<p>
 ミライース GRスポーツが市販化されるのであれば、GRブランドらしく速さよりセンス良くまとめた仕様で登場する公算が高そうです。
</p>
<p>
 ちなみに車両重量に関して、一部報道では750kg前後と言われていますが、実際はもう少し軽くなると筆者（金田ケイスケ）は見ています。
</p>
<p>
 ライバルのアルトワークスがFFモデル670kgという超軽量ボディを採用しているため、ミライース GRスポーツが600kgを実現するのは難しいとしても、720kg近くまで軽量化してくるのではないかと予想しています。
</p>
<p>
 というのも、ミライースの2WDは650～670kg、4WDは720～740kgとなっており、ターボエンジンは自然吸気エンジンより約10kg重いものの、MT搭載でATより軽くできるし、軽量ホイール採用でバネ下重量もダイエットしているはず。
</p>
<p>
 何よりレースの現場では軽さが操縦性にも影響しますし、そもそもミライース自体が軽さと空力ボディで高燃費を記録しているだけに、燃費もスポーツモデルとしてはかなりいい数字を叩き出しそうです。
</p>
<p>
 価格も、ベースとなるミライース（99万2200円～132万円／消費税込）が安さをセールポイントのひとつとしていることや、コペンGRスポーツがベースより約50万円のアップに抑えていることから判断して、ミライース GRスポーツも200万円を下回る価格になるかもしれません。
