 6번째 경기에서 '닛산 포뮬러 E 팀'의 멤버인 올리버 롤랜드가 첫 자리에 이름을 올렸고, 다음 날 진행된 7차 전에서는 '엔비젼 레이싱' 산하의 선수였던 세바스티안 부エ미가 승리를 거두었다.


 한국타이어는 오는 5월 17일부터 18일까지 일본 도쿄에서 열리는 ‘2025 도쿄 E-PRIX’ 대회를 통해 시즌 11의 반환점을 맞이하게 된다. 시즌 세 번째 더블헤더 경기이자 도심을 가로지르는 스트리트 서킷에서 진행되는 만큼 수준 높은 경기가 예고된다.

 The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) plans to set up 45 electric vehicle (EV) charging points in the next year as part of a plan to push for the adoption of e-mobility in the country.

 The 45 EV charging points to be set up by Kenya Power will be installed in counties such as Nairobi, Nyeri, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru, Mombasa and Taita Teveta.


 The charging points will add to the three existing EV charging points that the electricity distributor has in the country.

 The electric utility company has installed EV charging stations at Stima Plaza as well as their main headquarters.


 Investing in infrastructure is crucial as it forms a vital part of efforts to promote e-mobility adoption in Kenya. This initiative aims to facilitate the transition by providing necessary facilities for new users.


 Siror mentioned that among the 45 new electric vehicle charging stations being installed, six will be situated at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.


 However, Kenya Power stayed silent about the locations of the remaining charging stations and the budget allocated for this initiative. Despite this, they emphasized the importance of cooperation among industry leaders to promote the uptake of the new technology.

 Currently, there are approximately 9,047 EVs registered in the country compared to 2,694 and 5,294 that were registered in 2023 and 2024, respectively.


 The growth of E-mobility has been spurred by various initiatives that have been undertaken to create an enabling environment, including the introduction of the e-mobility tariff in the current electricity tariff control period.

 The Centre for Extractives and Development Africa (CEDA) is advocating for increased use of electric bicycles and tricycles in Ghana, arguing that this move could accelerate the nation’s shift towards renewable energy and simplify transportation for numerous everyday travelers.


 Electric two (E2) and three-wheelers (E3), CEDA said, could transform daily travel for thousands of Ghanaians who rely on motorcycles and tricycles for work and transport.


 Samuel Bekoe, who serves as the Executive Director of CEDA, pointed out that the nation's transportation industry plays a substantial role in increasing carbon emissions and stands as the top producer of CO2 within the country, making up 38 percent of all national CO2 emissions.


 He noted specifically that two-wheelers (such as okadas) and three-wheelers (like tricycles) have seen substantial imports and usage, notably in urban areas such as Accra and Kumasi, but they continue to be important transportation choices for numerous rural populations as well.


 He mentioned that the increasing popularity of okadas and tricycles is still contributing to higher levels of greenhouse gases, even though Ghana has made pledges through its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and energy transition (ET) plans.


 "The transportation sector continues to be crucial for achieving net-zero emissions in Ghana by 2070," Mr. Bekoe noted additionally. Shifting this sector is estimated to require approximately $550 billion—accounting for 70% of the overall expense related to the energy transition, which encompasses infrastructure development as well.


 A significant deficiency in the present system, he pointed out, is the absence of regulations and strategic planning concerning the extensive usage of okadas and tricycles, which continue to operate without much oversight.


 It was revealed that between January 2017 & December 2021, a total of 17,660 plug-in electric vehicles and 9,431 motorised electric 2 and 3-wheeled vehicles were imported into Ghana.


 Against this backdrop, the Executive Director of CEDA – who was speaking during an interview in Accra at the inception meeting and stakeholder launch of their research initiative -said CEDA’s two-year project, from 2025 to 2027, therefore explores transition pathways for electric two and three-wheelers in Ghana.


 The project will review existing research, policies and regulatory frameworks. It will also look to assess long-term prospects for local assembly, manufacturing and servicing, as well as evaluate the potential impact of E2 and E3s on employment and climate goals.


 CEDA’s work is supported by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and Climate Compatible Growth programme, a consortium of British universities.


 It is anticipated that this project will result in decreased greenhouse gases, aiding in efforts to mitigate climate change.


 Additionally, efforts aim to reinforce the regulatory structure concerning E2 and E3 class electric vehicles within the nation. This initiative seeks to enhance the overall business climate surrounding these vehicles and boost their uptake.


 The Technical Director at the Ministry of State for Climate Change and Sustainability, Cedric Dzelu—who was addressing the matter on behalf of the sector minister—mentioned that the efforts undertaken by CEDA and its collaborators are consistent with the government’s aim to formalize the okada transportation industry.


 "I'm extremely enthusiastic about the push for adopting E2 and E3 three-wheelers. Ideally, these initiatives at the policy level should support the minister's efforts to ensure that necessary measures like subsidies, grants, and everything else required to make this happen are implemented," he stated.


 Mr. Dzelu added that government welcomes the work of stakeholders such as CEDA, ensuring stakeholder inclusivity and engagement.


 He highlighted the significance of obtaining backing from stakeholders to ensure that okada and tricycle operations become more efficient, secure, and comprehensively regulated.

The Rural Electrification Agency has committed to increased cooperation with LPV Technologies, a prominent manufacturer of solar products and supplier of energy solutions, aiming to reduce capital outflow within Nigeria’s renewable energy industry.
 
 
 During a recent visit to LPV’s solar panel factory in Lagos, REA Managing Director, Abba Aliyu, hailed the company as one of Nigeria’s most efficient, praising its role in driving the country’s energy transition and creating jobs.
 
 
 Aliyu stated that LPV's capability to manufacture locally is vital for Nigeria’s plan to reduce reliance on imported clean energy systems. "It's a strategically important facility, constructed domestically but operating at global standards," he emphasized.
 
 
 He stated that the nation requires approximately $410 billion to finish its energy transformation and at least $40 billion to bridge the electricity access deficit. Indigenous initiatives such as LPV are crucial for achieving these goals.
 
 
 “The country with the greatest potential for distributed renewable energy, Nigeria, only created 70,000 jobs in the sector last year compared to China’s 7 million out of a global 14 million,” Aliyu noted. “We must turn our electricity access challenge into a job creation opportunity.”
 
 
 Commending LPV Technologies’ investments, Aliyu said the company has gone beyond manufacturing by also investing in implementation and talent development.
 
 
 “This is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s new economic strategy to localize production and enhance the GDP. What LPV is doing is turning a national challenge into a national opportunity,” he stated.
 
 
 He mentioned that the firm’s offerings exceed certain imported items in terms of both quality and traceability, highlighting the integrated technologies used to monitor every panel throughout the entire process—from component procurement to final assembly.
 
 
 "This represents Nigeria to the global community. The panels produced here match up against any international brand in terms of quality and automation. It gives me great pride to state that LPV’s offerings can easily go toe-to-toe with those from anywhere else," he said additionally.
 
 
 Aliyu also disclosed an ongoing collaboration between the REA and the Nigeria Police Force, aimed at solarizing police stations nationwide. This initiative, backed by a signed Memorandum of Understanding, will draw from LPV’s production standards to ensure quality and reliability in implementation.
 
 
 “We’re already rolling this out and will provide further updates soon,” he said.
 
 
 The visit also had in attendance the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund, highlighting the multi-agency collaboration being fostered to drive Nigeria’s energy reforms using locally sourced solutions.
 
 
 Speaking at the event, the Chairman of LPV Technologies, Mr Nzan Ogbe, emphasised the strategic importance of decentralized energy infrastructure to reduce the cost of power across Nigeria.
 
 
 He emphasized LPV's dedication to aiding governmental initiatives through the development of clean energy solutions that are simple to implement, resistant to common power grid constraints, and tailored to fit specific regional needs.
 
 
 "The primary challenge in Africa nowadays extends beyond corruption to include energy security and the privileges associated with holding power. This is what we aim to tackle. Our efforts go further than mere production; they focus on establishing cost-effective and expandable avenues for achieving energy accessibility," stated Nzan.

 Kolkata is all set to get the world's second-largest electric vehicle charging hub, which will be the next only to China. The EV charging hub is being built in South Kolkata's Thakurpukur area and it will have 300 chargers at a single site, allowing 300 electric vehicles to be charged at a time. The EV charging hub is expected to be operational by August this year. This hub will have both slow and fast chargers, with capacity loads of up to 120 kWh. About 20 per cent chargers of the EV charging hub will be fast chargers.


 Currently, China has the largest electric vehicle charging facility in the world, which houses 650 chargers at a single location. In India, the largest single-site electric vehicle charging hub is located in Gurgaon, which has 160 charging points. With the upcoming one in Kolkata, it will be the largest one, PTI has reported. The news agency has further reported that the upcoming electric vehicle charging hub is being built by EzUrja on a nearly two-acre abandoned plant of PSU Andrew Yule & Co.

 Speaking about the upcoming EV charging hub, Ashhok Kapoor, the Managing Director of EzUrja has said that this is going to be the first EV charging hub project from the company. "It is being executed for 300 vehicles of Snap-E, the all-electric app-based cab service. So far, the largest single-site EV charging hub in India is in Gurgaon, which has 160 charging points," he said. The project is estimated to cost an investment of

 Tarif Listrik April-Juni 2025: Tetap atau Naik?
 


 Banyak yang bertanya-tanya, apakah tarif listrik akan mengalami kenaikan di kuartal II-2025? Jawabannya, tidak ada kenaikan tarif untuk 13 golongan pelanggan nonsubsidi. Keputusan ini diambil pemerintah untuk menjaga daya beli masyarakat dan daya saing usaha.


 Menurut Menteri ESDM Bahlil Lahadalia, dikutip dari Kontan.co.id, tarif listrik untuk periode April-Juni 2025 tetap sama seperti kuartal I-2025, kecuali ada kebijakan baru dari pemerintah. Untuk pelanggan bersubsidi, seperti rumah tangga miskin, industri kecil, dan UMKM, tetap mendapatkan subsidi listrik tanpa perubahan tarif.


 Sementara untuk pelanggan non-subsidi, berikut tarif listrik yang berlaku untuk April-Juni 2025:


 1. Golongan rumah tangga kecil (R-1/TR) daya 900 VA, tarif listrik per kWh reguler dan prabayar Rp 1.352,00


 2. Golongan rumah tangga kecil (R-1/TR) daya 1.300 VA, tarif listrik per kWh reguler dan prabayar Rp 1.444,70


 3. Golongan rumah tangga kecil (R-1/TR) daya 2.200 VA, tarif listrik per kWh reguler dan prabayar Rp 1.444,70


 4. Kelompok keluarga menengah (R-2/TR) dengan kapasitas daya 3.500-5.500 VA, harga listrik per kWh untuk sistem regular dan prepayment adalah sebesar Rp 1.699,53.


 5. Kelompok rumah tangga besar (R-3/TR) dengan kapasitas daya 6.600 VA atau lebih tinggi, tarif listrik per kWh untuk sistem regular maupun prepay adalah sebesar Rp 1.699,53.


 6. Kelompok usaha sedang (B-2/TR) dengan kapasitas daya antara 6.600 VA sampai 200 kVA, tarif listrik per kWh untuk sistem regular maupun pra-bayar adalah sebesar Rp 1.444,70.


 7. Kelompok usaha skala besar (B-3/TM, TT) dengan kapasitas daya lebih dari 200 kVA memiliki tarif listrik per kWh untuk sistem reguler dan prepay sebesar Rp 1.114,74.


 8. Kelompok usaha industri berukuran sedang (I-3/TM) dengan kekuatan di atas 200 kVA, tarif listrik per kWh untuk sistem regulernya dan pra-bayaran adalah sebesar Rp 1.114,74.


 9. Kelompok kapasitas industri berskala besar (I-4/TT) dengan daya di atas 30.000 kVA, tariff listrik per kWh untuk sistem regular dan prepay adalah sebesar Rp 996,74.


 10. Kelompok instansi pemerintahan dengan daya mulai dari P-1/TR sebesar 6.600 VA sampai 200 kVA, memiliki tarif listrik per kWh untuk sistem regular maupun pra-bayaran senilai Rp 1.699,53.


 11. Kelompok kantor pemerintahan berdaya lebih dari 200 kVA (P-2/TM), tariff listrik tiap kWh untuk sistem regular maupun prepayment adalah sebesar Rp 1.522,88 per kWh.


 12. Kelompok untuk penerangan jalan publik (P-3/TR) dengan kapasitas lebih dari 200 kVA, tarif listrik per kWh pada sistem regular dan prepayment adalah sebesar Rp 1.699,53.


 13. Kelompok tariff khusus L/TR, TM, TT, dengan harga listrik per kWh untuk sistem regular dan pra-bayar sebesar Rp 1.644,52 per kWh

 デザインはクラシックなチャージャーのシルエットを受け継ぎながらも、空力を考慮したモダンなフォルムを採用。独自の「フラッツォニック・チャンバード・エキゾースト」により、EVでありながら従来のV8エンジンのようなサウンドを演出する。


 ドライビングモードも充実しており、雪道や悪路に対応する「ウェット/スノーモード」のほか、EVならではの即応性を活かした「ドリフト/ドーナツモード」も搭載。従来のマッスルカーに不足していた全天候型の走行性能を実現しながら、走る楽しさも損なわない設計となっている。


 2種類のパワートレインが用意され、「デイトナ R/T」は最高出力496馬力、最大トルク547Nmを発揮。「デイトナ スキャットパック」は最高出力670馬力、最大トルク850Nmを誇る。パフォーマンス面では、0-96km/h加速3.3秒、1/4マイル加速11.5秒を記録し、圧倒的なスピードを実現。

 April 6, 11:30 PM Update:
 
 The Nashville Electric Service stated that approximately 3,300 customers remain without electricity.


 Most of the service interruptions are occurring in the downtown area, Whites Creek, Nolensville Pike, Cane Ridge, and White Bridge regions.


 The Nashville Electric Service stated that they verified 55 power poles were damaged due to the storms. While these poles are currently under repair, NES mentioned that additional broken poles might still be discovered as inspection efforts progress.

 The Nashville Electric Service stated that approximately 4,000 customers remain without electricity.


 Most of the service interruptions are occurring in the downtown area, Hendersonville, Cane Ridge, White Bridge, Nolensville Pike, and Whites Creek regions.


 NES has verified that 54 electricity poles were damaged due to the storms. They are currently undergoing repairs; however, NES mentioned that additional damaged poles might still be discovered as inspection efforts progress.

 Nashville Electric Service stated that approximately 7,800 customers remain without electricity.


 Most of the service interruptions are occurring in the downtown area, Old Hickory region, Cane Ridge district, White Bridge vicinity, along Nolensville Pike, and in Whites Creek.


 The NES reported that Saturday's storm damaged more than 40 power poles, and they are actively addressing these repairs. However, rainfall and flooding have hindered their progress in certain areas.


 
 April 6, 10:58 AM Update:
 
 Nashville Electric Service reported that 12,000 customers are currently without electricity. Most of these outages are concentrated in downtown Nashville, Old Hickory, Madison, and the Hendersonville area.


 The storm reportedly destroyed 30 power poles according to NES. Due to rainfall and floods in certain regions, NES mentioned that some locations might experience delays in restoration services.

 The Nashville Electric Service stated that their teams have successfully reinstated electricity to over 22,000 customers. Nonetheless, approximately 30,000 customers still do not have power.


 The NES reported that most of the power interruptions are occurring in the Hendersonville, Madison, and Nolensville Road regions.
