About 20 per cent chargers of the EV charging hub will be fast chargers. </p> <p> Currently, China has the largest electric vehicle charging facility in the world, which houses 650 chargers at a single location. In India, the largest single-site electric vehicle charging hub is located in Gurgaon, which has 160 charging points. With the upcoming one in Kolkata, it will be the largest one, PTI has reported. So far, the largest single-site EV charging hub in India is in Gurgaon, which has 160 charging points," he said. The project is estimated to cost an investment of <span> ₹ </span> 7.5 crore and expected to become operation by August, ahead of Durga Puja, Kapoor further added. </p> <p> He also said that all the chargers that are being used at the upcoming charging hub, are being locally manufactured at EzUrja's Himachal Pradesh facility. "The hub will have a mix of fast and slow chargers, with capacity loads of up to 120 kWh. Fast chargers will constitute about 20 per cent of the total," he further said. The company has also revealed that the full load capacity of the hub will be 6 MW. To make it sustainable, the company claims to be installing solar panels and storage batteries. "We expect to generate about 40 per cent of the load from the microgrid we are developing at the site to ensure an eco-friendly and reliable energy supply," he said. </p>

Nielsen Field functioned as the base for FEAF. Upon his arrival at Nielsen Field on November 7, 1941, Major General Lewis Brereton took up his new role as the leader of FEAF. </p> <p> On December 10, 1941, Nielson Field suffered an attack from the Japanese forces. The facility faced considerable destruction as a result. Soon after, Mr. Nielson was apprehended by the Japanese and transported to the University of Santo Tomas, also known as the Santo Tomas Internment Camp (STIC). </p> <p> The STIC served as the internment site for American civilians during the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. Upon discovering that Mr. Nielson held British citizenship rather than being an American civilian, he was moved to Hong Kong. Sadly, his whereabouts remain unknown since then. </p> <p> Today, Nielson Field no longer stands. It is apparent Saudi Arabia has pulled out all the stops on its contribution, given that Riyadh will host the next World Expo, in 2030, themed The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow. </p> <p> One of the highlights of Osaka 2025 will be the demonstration of flying-car services . The advanced air mobility take-off and landing zone - the Osakako Vertiport - is outside the west gate and will be used to display state-of-the-art vehicles. To highlight their potential, the flying cars will be flown to the Osaka Heliport and other sites nearby, while inside the Grand Ring, the Advanced Air Mobility Station offers an immersive theatre experience that simulates a short trip in one of these aircraft. As with many attractions at the expo, booking will be required. </p> <p> The closest accommodation to the expo site can be found at The Day Osaka, which is on a neighbouring artificial island linked to Yumeshima by a bridge and, for the duration of the event, a shuttle-bus service. Unusually for a city hotel, it is set in expansive parkland and the main building and adjacent Nest building are complemented by 14 wooden cabins - with hammocks - built around a lake surrounded by cherry trees. What we know about the fire that brought London's Heathrow Airport to a standstill

<img data-document-id="cms/api/amp/image/AA1Brh7h" data-reference="image" src="https://img-s-msn-com.akamaized.net/tenant/amp/entityid/AA1Brh7h.jpg"/> <p> LONDON (AP) — Heathrow Airport was up and running Saturday and airlines worked to clear the backlog after a fire at a nearby electricity substation knocked out power to Europe's busiest airport , disrupting travel plans for hundreds of thousands of people around the world. </p> <p> The airport said it had made space for extra flights, but it is expected to take days to get stranded passengers to their destinations and displaced aircraft into the proper locations. </p> <p> Here's a look at what happened and its impact on air travel . </p> <p> What happened? </p> <p> A fire at an electrical substation in west London, about 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) from the airport, cut power to Heathrow Airport late on Thursday. </p> <img data-document-id="cms/api/amp/image/AA1BnTeD" data-reference="image" src="https://img-s-msn-com.akamaized.net/tenant/amp/entityid/AA1BnTeD.jpg"/> <p> Residents reported an explosion and a fireball just before midnight. The London Fire Brigade said a transformer holding 25,000 liters (5,000 gallons) of cooling oil caught fire. It said 10 fire engines and 70 firefighters brought the blaze under control after seven hours, but isolated hotspots were still alight 24 hours after the fire started. </p> <p> National Grid, which maintains energy infrastructure in Britain, said the blaze damaged equipment at the substation and cut power to 67,000 properties, including Heathrow. It said power was restored to all of them by Saturday morning. </p> <p> The “significant power outage” initially forced Heathrow officials to announce that the airport would be closed until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, but some flights began to resume on Friday evening. </p> <p> What caused the fire? </p> <p> Officials said there was no suggestion of foul play, but the cause is still under investigation. Heathrow advised passengers not to travel to the airport and to contact their airlines to rebook flights. </p> <p> With all takeoffs and landings canceled, the first impact was on dozens of long-haul flights from North America and Asia that were in the air when the airport was shut down. Some were forced to turn around, while others were diverted to airports around the United Kingdom and Europe. </p> <img data-document-id="cms/api/amp/image/AA1BnM2c" data-reference="image" src="https://img-s-msn-com.akamaized.net/tenant/amp/entityid/AA1BnM2c.jpg"/> <p> Heathrow-bound aircraft landed at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam; Shannon Airport in western Ireland; Glasgow, Scotland; Manchester, England; Charles de Gaulle in Paris; Lyon, France; and Frankfurt, Germany, among others. </p> <p> About 4,000 tons of cargo were also stranded by the closure, according to Anita Mendiratta, an aviation and leadership consultant. </p> <p> How long will the disruptions last? </p> <p> The disruptions are expected to last for days as airlines move stranded aircraft and flight crews back into position and work to accommodate passengers whose flights were canceled. Mendiratta estimated that it would take two to four days to clear all the backlogs. </p> <p> “This is an extreme situation where the entire aviation ecosystem is impacted,” she said. </p> <p> “There will be two things that will be happening as a priority No. 1. First is airport operations and understanding, from an electrical system point of view, what has been impacted, if anything,” she said. “Did anything short out, for instance? What needs to be reactivated? And then how do you literally turn the airport back on again?" </p> <p> How big is Heathrow? </p> <p> Heathrow was Europe’s busiest airport last year, with 83.6 million passengers traveling through it. Five other air hubs in southeastern England identify themselves as London airports, but they are much smaller than Heathrow. London Gatwick, Britain’s second-biggest airport, handled 43.2 million passengers last year.
