 What is a supersolid?
</h3>

 Supersolids are a strange
 state of matter
 defined by
 quantum mechanics
 where particles condense into an orderly, crystalline solid but also move like a liquid that has no viscosity. (Viscosity refers to a substance's internal friction, governing how smoothly it flows). Usually, solids don't move on their own, but supersolids change direction and density depending on particle interactions while maintaining an organized lattice structure.

 Why are supersolids so cold?
</h3>

 Supersolids require extremely low temperatures to form — usually very close to
 absolute zero
 (minus 459.67 degrees Fahrenheit, or minus 273.15 degrees Celsius). Most of the particles have to occupy the lowest energy state available, and heat makes particles jump up and down like excitable toddlers in a ball pit.


 If a material is cold enough, the temperature no longer obscures how the particles interact with each other. Instead, the tiny effects of quantum mechanics become the defining factors in how the material behaves.

 カブハウスのSNSでスーパーカブC125の新色が公開された。詳細は記されていないが、1958年以来の“Sシェイプ”デザインに新たなカラーデュオを提案している。


 ボディカラーは“オーディナリーホワイト(Ordinary White)”で、シートには“アーティザンレッド(Artisan Red)”を配し、クラシックとエレガンスのブレンドとして『クラフトピース(Craftpiese)』が謳われていた。これまでにタイで発表されたカラーは、時間差がある場合こそあれど、多くは日本にも導入されてきている。続報に期待が待ち遠しい。


 ちなみに2024年1月にタイで発表された車体色は、“プレステージクラッシーブルー”。日本未導入だが、エッセンスグレーは日本仕様のパールカデットグレーと同色と思われる(シート色は異なる)。ダブルシート/荷台といった仕様の違いも面白い。

 ホンダ「GB350」系の新型がインドでマイナーチェンジ【海外】
</h2>

 ホンダモーターサイクル＆スクーターインディア(HMSI)は、日本でGB350シリーズとして販売されている、人気の空冷単気筒バイク「H’ness CB350(ハイネスCB350)」および「CB350RS」をマイナーチェンジ。新色を設定し、インド全国で予約受付開始することを発表した。


 ミドル350ccクラスのレトロバイクとしてベトナムやマレーシア、そして日本や欧州にもGB350名義で展開される本シリーズは、インドが発祥の地であることはよく知られているところ。新モデルは、最新の故障診断システム『OBD-2B』を搭載したことが、おもな変更点だ。つまり排出ガス規制まわりの最新レギュレーションに合わせており、その他の性能や基本デザインに変更はない。


 これにともない、カラーラインナップが刷新。特別仕様として展開されていた「H’ness CB350 Legacy Edition」と「CB350RS New Hue Edition」の2種類については廃止された。

 ホンダは、ゲーム『ポケットモンスター スカーレット』に登場する人気キャラクター・コライドンを原寸大で再現した「ホンダコライドン」を公開した。コライドンは主人公を乗せて移動するポケモンで、ホンダはこれを寸法や動きに至るまで忠実に再現し、最終的には子供を乗せて走る未来モビリティとして披露する予定だ。


 この「ホンダコライドン」は、内部のモーターや駆動用タイヤによって走行が可能な電動モビリティ。手足/首/顔も可動としてゲーム上の動きの忠実な再現を目指し、子供を乗せて走らせることを最終目標としている。ゲームのキャラクターを現実世界に降臨させてしまおうという、なかなかに奇想天外なプロジェクトで、ポケモン好きの子供が大興奮なのは間違いない。

 ホンダ純正オイルのバイク用ブランドが「Pro Honda」に一新
</h2>

 ホンダは、二輪車用の純正オイルのラインナップを「Pro Honda(プロホンダ)」ブランドに一新し、4月より順次発売すると発表した。ボトルパッケージは“純正の品格と高品質”をイメージしたカラーに、“ライダーと製品を力づける”ブランドコンセプトを表現したロゴデザインとしている。


 エンジンオイルのラインアップは、環境への配慮とホンダ二輪車のエンジン性能を最大限に引き出す最適なバランスを目指し開発。4サイクルエンジン用オイル5種類と、2サイクルエンジン用オイル3種類が設定されている。また、走りを支える機能部品用フルード、オイルのラインアップとして、ブレーキフルード1種類とクッションオイル2種類が設定された。

</h2>

 特別仕様車の製作に旺盛なカブハウスは、タイホンダの創立60周年を記念した「New Monkey Chrome Legacy Limited Edition(ニューモンキー クロームレガシー リミテッドエディション)」を初公開。1967年の50ccミニモンキーから、2025年の125ccビッグモンキーまでの伝説を継承するモデルだ。


 ビンテージスタイルのホンダウイングロゴに加え、60周年記念の3Dソフトエンブレム、モンキーZ50にちなんだという「ダブルモンキー」のシンボルなどを施した特別仕様車。ブラックレザー調のシートはステンレス製のリベットで装飾される。各車両には『Monkey Chrome Edition』のロゴが入った個別のシリアルナンバーも付与されるという。


 車両価格は11万7000バーツで、2025年3月24日～4月6日のみの期間限定予約。日本から発注することは難しいが、日本でもこんなのが発売されたら予約枠はすぐに埋まってしまいそうだ。

 ホンダ「CB1000F コンセプト」が世界初公開
</h2>

 ホンダは、第41回大阪モーターサイクルショー2025において、コンセプトモデル「CB1000F コンセプト」を世界初公開した。そのディテールは、2020年に公開された「CB-F コンセプト」よりも現実的な市販車にかなり近い。


 CB1000Fコンセプトのベースになっているのは、発売間もないCB1000ホーネットだ。最終型CBR1000RR(SC77)の4気筒エンジンを低中速寄りに調律し、装備重量211kg(SPは212kg)という軽量な車体に搭載。


 134万4200円～という価格がユーザーに好意的に受け止められているホーネットだけに、最終的に170万円近くまで価格上昇したCB1000Rよりもベースモデルとしてふさわしいはず。なぜなら、最大のライバルになるであろうカワサキ「Z900RS」は150万円切りスタートだからだ。


 また大阪モーターサイクルショー会場では、早くも2台のカスタム車両も公開された。そのうちの一台である、「CB1000Fコンセプト モリワキエンジニアリング」は、あのモリワキによる新生CBのレーシングカスタムコンセプトだった。

 ホンダが「スーパーカブ110ライト コンセプト」を発表
</h2>

 ホンダは、大阪モーターサイクルショーにて「スーパーカブ110ライト コンセプト(Super Cub 110 Lite Concept)」と称したコンセプトモデルをサプライズ発表。見た目はほとんどスーパーカブ110だが、60km/hメーターや『Super Cub Lite』のロゴステッカーといった違いがあった。


 ホンダはすでにスーパーカブ110やディオ110をはじめ、アジアで販売されている110～125ccクラスの車両をベースに走行テストを実施したことも明らかにされていたが、まずはスーパーカブシリーズから発表された形だ。


 ちなみにホンダからは2024年11月25日に3つの商標が出願されていたことが判明済み。いずれも『乗物』カテゴリーに属しており、その名称から新基準原付のモデル名になるのはほぼ間違いないと見られていた。

 ホンダ新「V型3気筒」には過給機なしが存在する?!

 大阪・東京モーターサイクルショーでも展示された、EICMA 2024初公開の電動過給機付きV型3気筒エンジンのプロトタイプ。世界中で話題を呼び、2月には英国で「V3R」の商標が出願されたことで車名の候補が明らかになったが、ここへきて北米で2種類の商標が出願されたことがわかった。


 それが、「V3R」と「V3R E-COMPRESSOR」。後者のネーミングは初出で、EICMA 2024で出展された際の「V3 E-COMPRESSOR」ではなく“R”が付いて「V3R E-COMPRESSOR」になっているのがポイントだ。


 2種類の商標が想像させるのは、電動過給機を搭載するバージョンと非搭載NAバージョンが存在するということ。つまり自然吸気(NA)：V3R、電動過給機付き：V3R E-COMPRESSORという棲み分けになると予想できる。

Obwohl alle Lichtquellen modern via LEDs beleuchtet werden, behält der Frontscheinwerfer seine runde Gestaltung, während das Bremslicht weiterhin großflächig und eckig gehalten ist – genau wie damals.

Darüber hinaus zählt das Modell sogar zu den wirtschaftlichen Optionen innerhalb seiner Segmentgruppe; schließlich startet die neue 1000er-Hornet schon ab 10.290 Euro in die Saison 2025.

 "Inovasi merupakan nyawa bagi industri energi, khususnya pada era modern ini yang dinamis, mengingat perubahan campuran sumber daya energi global serta fenomena besar seperti elektrofikasi yang memberikan pengaruh signifikan," ungkap Direktur Eksekutif IEA Fatih Birol melalui laporan yang diposting di situs web resmi IEA, Jumat (4/4/2025).


 
 Inovasi di bidang energi sudah menyumbangkan dampak positif signifikan terhadap aspek keuangan dan kesinambungan pasokan energi. Dana yang dialokasikan untuk riset serta pengembangan (R&D), seiring dengan munculnya krisis energi tahun 1970-an, membantu percepatan pembentukan teknologi nuklir dan berkuranginya ketergantungan beberapa negera atas sumber daya minyak luar negeri.
 


 
 Di samping itu, perkembangan teknologi baterai serta kendaraan listrik juga mengurangi ketergantungan pada impor minyak di China, sedangkan terobosan dalam teknologi shale telah mendorong AS berubah menjadi eksportir energi hijau.
 


 
 Namun, beberapa tahun terakhir telah menggambarkan pertumbuhan konsisten dalam inovasi, di mana pengeluaran riset dan pengembangan (R&D) energi baik dari sektor publik maupun swasta meningkat dengan laju rata-rata 6% setiap tahunnya.
 


 
 Tetapi, diprediksi bahwa pertumbuhan tersebut akan melandai di beberapa negara berkembang tahun lalu. Berbagai bidang tertentu, misalnya industri otomotif dan energi terbaharui, sudah mengungguli laju perkembangan ekonomi dari segi penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), sedangkan sejumlah sektor lain seperti produksi beton, pembuatan besi baja, perusahaan penerbangan serta jasa logistik masih kurang memperdalam investasi mereka dalam teknologi yang ramah lingkungan dengan kadar emisi lebih rendah.
 


 
 Investasi dalam bidang teknologi energi pun mengalami kemajuan yang mencolok. Dana ventura (VC) di sektor ini meningkat lebih dari enam kali lipat antara tahun 2015 sampai 2022, jumlahnya setara dengan total penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) energi yang dilakukan secara bersama oleh pihak publik.
 


 
 Akan tetapi, arus investasi ini menunjukkan penurunan melebihi 20% pada tahun 2023 dan 2024, seiring dengan situasi finansial yang makin memburuk.
 


 "Bermacam-macam teknologi saat ini sepertinya telah dekat dengan pasar, memberikan harapan untuk peningkatan di bidang keamanan energi, affordability, serta berkelanjutan pada akhirnya. Akan tetapi, diperlukan modal, baik itu berasal dari pemerintah atau sektor bisnis privat, agar dapat mengakselerasikan ide-ide revolusioner tersebut. Waktu pengembaliannya mungkin tak selalu singkat, namun hasilnya pasti abadi," ungkapnya.


 
 Bidang teknologi kecerdasan buatan telah tampil sebagai satu-satunya area yang mencatat peningkatan dalam hal investasi, walaupun demikian ini mungkin akan menyebabkan penggeseran dana dari sector energi.
 


 
 Laporan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa China sudah melampaui Jepang dan Amerika Serikat untuk menjadi pemimpin global dalam paten energi mulai tahun 2021, dengan mayoritas fokus mereka tertuju pada teknologi beremisi rendah.
 


 
 Patent global untuk teknologi beremisi rendah sejak tahun 2000 meningkat dengan kecepatan yang mencapai 4,5 kali lipat dibandingkan patent terkait bahan bakar fosil.
