  On April 3rd, the U.S. implemented a 25% tariff on all imported passenger cars and light trucks from every nation, followed by an additional 10% tariff on Saturday.

Pada perayaan Idul Fitri 1446 Hijriah ini, ada 1.414 titik lokasi salat Idul Fitri yang dipersiapkan Muhammadiyah di lima kabupaten/kota di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Jumlah ini meningkat pesat dibanding Idul Fitri tahun lalu yang menyediakan 718 titik salat ied.

 Adapun rincian sebaran lokasi salat ied di DIY yakni di Kabupaten Sleman 314 lokasi, Kabupaten Kulonprogo 209 lokasi, Kabupaten Bantul 288 lokasi, Kabupaten Gunungkidul 377 lokasi dan Kota Yogyakarta 226 lokasi.

 Ketua Umum Pimpinan Pusat Muhammadiyah Haedar Nashir turut mengikuti salat Ied di Lapangan Trimulyo Jetis Bantul. Dalam kutbahnya, Haedar mengatakan jika kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara akan terasa damai, adil, makmur, bermartabat, berdaulat, dan berkemajuan secara berkeadaban jika para pemimpin dalam menjalankan tugas dilandasi ketakwaan.

 Garebeg atau Grebeg adalah suatu kebiasaan yang sering diadakan oleh istana untuk merayakan peristiwa penting dalam agama Islam seperti Idul Fitri, Idul Adha, serta kelahiran Nabi Muhammad SAW,” jelas Koordinator Penyelenggaraan Garebeg Sawal Keraton Yogyakarta, Kanjeng Raden Tumenggung (KRT) Kusumanegara.

 Gunungan yang diproses dan didistribusikan mewakili kekayaan Keraton atau hadiah dari sang Raja untuk warganya. Ada lima tipe gunungan yang diberikan dalam upacara Garebeg Sawal yaitu Gunungan Kakung, Gunungan Estri/Wadon, Gunungan Gepak, Gunungan Dharat, serta Gunungan Pawuhan.

 Pada sekitar jam 11:30 Waktu Indonesia Bagian Tengah, gunungan sampai di Kompleks Kepatihan dan disambut oleh Sekretaris Daerah DIY, Beny Suharsono, yang didampingi oleh beberapa kepala dinas dari lingkungan Pemerintahan Daerah DIY.

 "Penyerahan gunungan yang dibawa menggunakan kain cindai berwarna merah—yang umumnya dipakai pada acara-acara penting dan suci—ini dilakukan untuk memenuhi instruksi dari Raja Keraton Yogyakarta Sri Sultan HB X," jelas Utusan Keraton Yogyakarta Hadiningrat, KMT Purohadiparwoto.

 Setelah diresmikan diterima oleh Pemerintah Daerah DIY, tapak-gunung itu kemudian didistribusikan kepada pegawai negeri sipil Pemda DIY yang turut hadir. Makanan pembatas hariannya, yaitu rengginang dan kerupuk bertabur bintang dengan limawarna ini membawa arti khusus dalam tiap coraknya.

 Hitam mewakili otoritas dan ketekunan, putih menandakan suci, merah mencerminkan berani, hijau menyimbolkan subur/kekayaan, sementara kuning bermakna mulia. This new variant pays homage to the Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 which debuted 11 years prior at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The Scion marque ceased operations merely two years following this exclusive release. Now, the essence of that rare vehicle has been revived, extending beyond mere retro-themed paint options.

  In the Premium trim level, Toyota offers a Performance Package which includes upgraded Brembo brakes paired with SACHS shock absorbers. For an added fee, customers can opt for a discreet body kit along with a more prominent four-exhaust setup. The naturally-aspirated 2.4-liter engine retains its original specifications, delivering 228 horsepower and 184 pound-feet (250 Newton-meters) of torque. This special edition GR86 comes equipped with either a standard six-speed manual or automatic gearbox featuring the same gear count as well as paddle shifters. In both cases, a Torsen limited-slip rear differential is part of the package.

  Toyota fits 18-inch matte-black rims reminiscent of the Scion variant, while the dark cabin echoes the discontinued FR-S model, featuring yellow highlights rather than red stitching for contrast. The carmaker’s rear-wheel-drive sports coupe retains an updated throttle calibration from the previous year, simplifying rev-matching during downshifting. Additionally, modifications to the engine torque management deliver a snappier throttle reaction.
 </p>
 <p>
  Although the Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 had only 1,500 units available, its spiritual heir is even rarer.

  Plans are in place to offer just 860 units of the GR86 Yuzu Edition for the 2026 model year. Dealerships across North America will receive them this autumn, though specific prices have yet to be disclosed but will likely exceed the $32,600 premium set by the base model, potentially aligning closely with the $35,270 price tag of the Hakone Edition.

 新型プレリュードは、ホンダの電動化技術とスポーツ性能を融合させた次世代ハイブリッドスポーツクーペとして開発されています。

 エクステリアは現代的な洗練さとスポーツクーペらしい低重心のシルエットが融合したデザインが特徴です。フロントはシャープなLEDヘッドライトとワイドなグリルで精悍な印象を与え、サイドは長いボンネットと滑らかに流れるルーフラインがエレガントさを演出しています。リアには水平基調のテールランプと、わずかに跳ね上がったリップ形状のトランクスポイラーが備わり、クーペらしい引き締まったスタンスを際立たせています。

 山上：PRELUDEは、クラシック音楽の「前奏曲」を意味し、新たな始まりを象徴します。新型PRELUDEも、新時代に先駆けるスポーツカーとして、走る楽しさを再定義したいと考えています。

 ――PRELUDEの復活が決まったとき、どのようなモデルにしようと考えましたか？
</p>
<p>
 山上：実は、最初からPRELUDEを復活させようと決めていたわけではありません。時代に合う新しいスポーツモデルを模索する中で、この名前が自然とフィットしたのです。ですから、過去の復刻ではなく、現代の技術や価値観に合ったクルマを目指しました。

 ――新たな時代のPRELUDEとして、求めた価値はどんなものだったのでしょうか？
</p>
<p>
 山上：反響はどうしてもヘリテージに寄りがちですが、先入観にとらわれないでほしいと思っています。過去の良さを学びながら、現代にふさわしく進化させることが重要です。流行を取り入れつつ、流されすぎないこと。そのバランスが今の時代には必要だと考えました。

 PRELUDEは時代ごとに姿を変えながらも、「スポーツ性」と「スペシャリティー」は常に共通しており、最先端技術を取り入れる精神も受け継いできました。新型でもその姿勢を大切にしています。

 ――1980～90年代を知る人は、PRELUDEと言えば“デートに出かけるクルマ”という印象もあるかもしれません

 山上：今と昔でデートの形は変わっても、「誰かと特別な時間を過ごす」という本質は変わりません。PRELUDEは、そんな特別な時間を楽しめるクルマでありたい。

 Just under 48 hours before Colorado native Danny O'Shea was scheduled to join his skating partner Ellie Kam at the World Figure Skating Championships, he found himself unable to take to the ice. Coach Drew Meekins reported that on March 22, O'Shea hurt his foot during an off-ice workout session, making him experience excruciating discomfort.

 The injury occurred when Kam and O'Shea were expected to assist the U.S. in securing additional Olympic berths for the USA at the forthcoming 2026 Olympic Games. The duo had previously teamed up before.

 As they got ready in Colorado Springs for the world competition in March.

 As per the rules of the competition, the team states they informed U.S. Figure Skating about O'Shea’s injury. They mention having contingency plans ready should an alternate be needed, and O'Shea received extensive medical attention over 24 hours. This included “an epidural shot,” a treatment also employed in other high-level sports such as American football for players suffering from comparable injuries, according to Meekins.

 Two days after the injury, O'Shea skated a full final training program and was cleared by USFS to skate. O'Shea says the team did not yet know the extent of his injuries.
</p>
<p>
 The intensive ice and compression routine alongside numbing injections continued throughout Oshea's time at the competition in Boston to manage swelling and pain.
</p>
<p>
 "His biggest motivation was to help Team USA secure three spots at next year's world championship, and give the team the chance to earn a third spot for the Olympic Games. And despite the immense amount of pain he was in, and the emotional and psychological trauma this situation caused to both him and Ellie, somehow they were able to perform to a seventh best place in the world," Meekins said.

 The pair team's 7th place finish, alongside other strong performing U.S. athletes, earned Team USA a third Olympic spot for the upcoming games. Experts in the field say it's an opportunity Team USA has not in decades.
</p>
<p>
 After the competition concluded, O’Shea headed to a medical facility in Boston for an assessment. According to Meeks, official scans revealed that Danny’s foot had suffered a severe fracture of his fifth metatarsal.
</p>
<p>
 On Wednesday, O'Shea had an operation at the Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence. Once he recuperates and remains interested, his partner intends for them to get back into skating with their sights set on securing one of the current three available spots for the 2026 Olympics.

Overall, I think we handled ourselves quite adeptly.”

   Following their victory in the coin toss, Punjab Kings chose to field first. An opening partnership of 89 runs between Yashasvi Jaiswal (scoring 67 off 45 deliveries, including three boundaries and five maximums) and Sanju Samson (contributing 38 off 26 balls, featuring six fours) set the stage for Rajasthan Royals.  Our investigation, which examined healthcare financial records spanning the last seven years and included an extensive Freedom of Information act request sent to various trusts throughout England, uncovers critical insights as follows:

 The NHS cannot justify asking for additional funds when it writes off substantial debts owed by international patients for optional, non-emergency procedures.

 If a visitor experiences an accident during their vacation in the UK, it is reasonable for them to get emergency treatment; however, the NHS appears to offer scheduled, non-urgent procedures to individuals from abroad who do not make payments.

 If NHS management doesn’t take control, the Health Secretary must step in to make them act. It makes no sense to abolish NHS England and bring the NHS under direct government oversight if Wes Streeting isn’t going to stop such blatant mismanagement.

 Over the last couple of years, the government has had to bolster the NHS’s funding by an additional £21 billion, yet wait times for hospital treatments continue to hit all-time highs, with only 59 percent of patients being treated within the targeted 18 weeks.

 The £256.4 million that was forgiven could have financed the hiring of approximately 8,500 new nurses or almost 3,000 additional general practitioners. This amount would also be sufficient to cover the treatment costs for about 27,000 breast cancer patients or support as many as 15,000 kidney transplant procedures.

 The anger has been exacerbated by the fact that numerous foreign patients’ bills are for treatments deemed ‘elective,’ which means they were scheduled beforehand.

 Although general practitioner services and emergency treatment are provided free of charge to everyone irrespective of their residency status, hospitals are required to recognize chargeable patients and request payment up front—amounting to 150 percent of NHS rates—before providing additional services like specialized consultations and scheduled treatments.

 However, the data shows that overburdened hospitals frequently cannot manage this promptly and end up sending bills to patients afterward—permitting them to depart the country without making payment.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 This differs from healthcare systems in France, Ireland, the US, and Australia, where individuals must pay upfront.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 Alp Mehmet, the chairperson of Migration Watch UK, described it as 'outrageous' that merely a small portion of the expenses incurred by foreign patients is being reclaimed.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 'The NHS trust needs Wes Streeting to ensure they cease depending solely on government funding for providing routine care to individuals who aren’t eligible for it,' he stated.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 The founders of the National Health Service, such as Nye Bevan, would be appalled to discover it has transformed into an International Health Service.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 Over the last seven years, the NHS has charged overseas patients £621 million. Only around one-third of this, approximately £233 million, has been recovered so far. The sum being waived is increasing as patients cannot be located, have passed away, or due to hospitals deciding against chasing these debts.

 Despite this, in 2014, when there were concerns that the NHS had been too lenient with international patients, the government committed to recouping as much as £500 million annually.

 John O'Connell from the TaxPayers' Alliance urged Members of Parliament to revamp the system and "show proper respect for citizens' hard-earned money."
</p>

 He stated: "The inability of the health service to make sure that those who aren’t eligible for free care pay their dues highlights a cultural indifference toward squandered resources."
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 Every hospital is legally obligated to identify patients who do not qualify for free NHS treatment and must recoup expenses, with this responsibility monitored by overseas visitor managers.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 This could include the use of the MESH system, an IT resource created by NHS England that compares a patient’s data with other records, such as those maintained by the Home Office.
</p>

 International patients ought to be informed about the anticipated costs and payment procedures, and hospitals are required to undertake "all reasonable efforts" to collect these expenses prior to commencing treatment.
</p>

 However, due to compassionate considerations, official guidelines assert that care deemed urgent by a physician should not be denied — even if the patient has stated they are unable to make payment.

 A policy specialist commented, "In truth, hospitals frequently find it impractical because hiring sufficient personnel to verify each patient’s information and follow up on payments after invoices are sent can be too costly. The effectiveness varies among different trust organizations."

 These statistics encompass individuals who received initial attention in the emergency department before being hospitalized, making subsequent treatments chargeable. Additionally, they involve cases where general practitioners refer patients to hospitals for scheduled evaluations or procedures.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 Many hospitals struggled to distinguish between billing for elective and non-elective services. However, certain institutions like Barking, Havering, and Redbridge—where an outstanding unpaid amount of £1.3 million over one year encompasses a debt from a Ghanaian patient for orthopedic treatments totaling £18,000—did provide detailed numbers. The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust disclosed that they treated 531 international patients for elective procedures last year, with one case involving an uncollected sum of £22,000 related to spinal surgery.

 The Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has verified that 396 international patients underwent planned procedures over the past year, leaving approximately £300,000 in unpaid bills for 194 services provided. Additionally, a patient from Hungary was treated at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust for both kidney and heart issues and now owes around £23,000. Furthermore, numerous individuals hailing from countries such as India and Cameroon have been billed significant amounts—tens of thousands of pounds—for their respective treatments related to cancer care they received elsewhere within these healthcare systems.

 Data provided by officials from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) indicate that international patients seem to be more frequently opting for elective treatments through the NHS.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 Although the figures for patients seeking emergency care haven’t significantly altered, the number of individuals admitted for day procedures has nearly tripled over nine years, rising from 3,885 to 8,585 between 2014 and 2022-23. However, this figure dropped to 6,205 in the previous year.

<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 Data from The Mail on Sunday indicates that Nigerians held the highest amount of outstanding debts, trailed closely by Romanians, Indians, Albanians, and U.S. citizens. According to Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, within just one year, 92 Nigerian individuals accumulated a debt totaling £238,553—approximately £2,600 per person. Additionally, they charged 76 Romanian nationals with a combined bill of £178,936 and invoiced 33 Albanian people an aggregate sum of £106,959.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 The Mail on Sunday sought explanations from multiple major hospital trusts regarding the challenges of recognizing chargeable patients and recovering such expenses, yet none agreed to comment.
</p>
<p class="mol-para-with-font">
 The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust acknowledged that due to capacity constraints, only approximately half of the patients identified by MESH as possibly eligible for charges could undergo additional evaluation by their team. Out of over 8,000 individuals flagged by MESH, around 5,130 received further assessments, with 982 ultimately receiving bills for their treatments. A number were excluded either because they possessed a legitimate exemption or upon determination that they weren’t subject to charges.

 The DHSC stated that they have recovered £4.4 billion from international patients since 2015-16. This figure encompasses all payments received through the Immigration Health Surcharge, which requires individuals holding work or study visas to pay £776 annually for access to the NHS. It also includes revenue generated from treating citizens of countries within the European Economic Area.

 Mr. Streeting stated yesterday evening: "Similar to how British citizens overseas must cover their medical expenses, visitors coming to this nation should do the same. Given that patients are experiencing unbearably lengthy waits for general practitioner visits, surgeries, or even emergency services, it is unjustifiable for the National Health Service to bear the cost of treatments that ought to be covered financially."

   Mullanpur (Rajasthan), India, April 6 (ANI): In a remarkable achievement on Saturday, Indian cricketer Sanju Samson surpassed the legendary Australian player Shane Warne, who passed away later, to secure the position of having the highest number of victories as captain for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.

   Samson achieved this feat during his team's victory against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Mullanpur.
  </p>
  <p>
   This marked Samson's 32nd victory as the Rajasthan Royals' captain, surpassing Warne's total of 31 wins. Warne led the team from 2008 to 2011, securing 31 victories and suffering 24 losses during his tenure.
  </p>
  <p>
   Currently, Samson has been at the helm of RR since 2021, achieving 32 victories, suffering 29 defeats, and experiencing one tie. Under his leadership, RR secured second place in 2022 against GT and made it to the playoffs in 2024.
  </p>
  <p>
   Following their victory in the coin toss, PBKS chose to field initially. This decision paid off as Yashasvi Jaiswal’s solid knock of 67 runs from 45 deliveries (including three boundaries and five maximums), supported by Sanju Samson’s brisk 38 runs from 26 balls (featuring six fours), set up Rajasthan Royals well for scoring. Later innings from Riyan Parag, who scored an unbeaten 43 from just 25 balls (comprising three fours and three sixes), along with Shimron Hetmyer’s quickfire 20 runs from 12 balls (with two fours and one six), propelled RR to a competitive total of 205/4 after twenty overs.

   The standout bowler for PBKS was Lockie Ferguson with 2/37. Arshdeep Singh and Marco Jansen took one wicket each respectively.

   While chasing, PBKS found themselves at 43/4 due to Jofra Archer’s impressive performance of taking 3 wickets for just 25 runs. Nevertheless, a crucial partnership worth 88 runs between Nehal Wadhera (scoring 62 off 41 deliveries including five boundaries and three maximums) and Glenn Maxwell (contributing 30 off 21 balls featuring three fours and one six) provided PBKS with renewed optimism. Unfortunately, once both were dismissed, PBKS struggled to regain momentum and suffered without scoring those much-needed boundary hits. Ultimately, PBKS managed only 155/9 in their allotted twenty overs, largely owing to commendable bowling efforts from Sandeep Sharma (taking two wickets conceding 21 runs) and Maheesh Theekshana (also claiming two scalps giving away 26 runs).
